I am literally sitting here in my bed, crying. I had just recently pulled myself out of the homosexual lifestyle, and it has been so hard. It's not hard because I want to go back because I don't. It's hard because I had made friends completely with gay and transgender people and one by one I can just feel them slipping away from me. Even if it really hurts me, I know it is God's plan to give me new friends that are going to be there to help guide me all the way back onto the right path.

Armin Arlert You need to know one thing, the people whom you love, the people whom you trust, the people whom you confide in don't affect your religious standing at all. If you have homosexual urges don't force yourself to not act on them. You are a human being, don't let a religion control you. God shouldn't care what person you love. It's extremely dangerous to force yourself to be a heterosexual when you're a homosexual in reality. You need to sit down and think to yourself, what do I REALLY want as a human being? What do I REALLY want in my intimate relationships? Does it hurt your chest when you force yourself to sway to the other direction? It's important to love yourself first before you love God. Be the best version of yourself, but more importantly, be the version of yourself you want to be.

To take up your cross and walk with Jesus means you must deny yourself and deny the pleasures of the world. You Don't matter. Only God does. Only Jesus does. Because everything you are given is God given. Whether you believe so or not. Don't just love the creation but you must love the Creator also. Don't just love the gift but also love the Gifter. @Ken Raihan, God loves you and desires to deliver you. His promise is for you, "Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved." (Romans 10:13). Also, 1 Corinthians chapter 6 gives a litany of sinful lifestyles (not just homosexuality, but also adultery, robbery, etc.) and promises a clean slate by calling out to the Lord for help. It says in verse 11, "Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." God the Lord hears your cries and sees your tears. He loves you and is ready to answer your prayer. He loves you, Ken.

Beautiful testimony. Love how it’s centered on our identity. Even us heterosexuals we often center our identity on a significant other (whether we realize it or not) or even in a job or social role. Our true identity is indeed in Christ, and when you realize it and accept it, that’s when you experience true freedom. One of CS Lewis quotes say: “Don’t let your happiness depend on something you may lose”. I associate that quote so much with our identity. When we anchor our identity in Christ, nothing can take that away. Not even death. Like Romans 8:38-39 says ❤️

Neither Jesus or God care who you love! God/Higher Power made mankind and there have always been differing sexualities! To say any are wrong is to say God is wrong for creating them that way. It is something you are born with not a lifestyle choice. The Bible was written by men, not by God. They decided what to include and revised it over hundreds of years. I do think they care about our capacity to hate and to kill each other and to constantly be at war. That Bible clearly says Thou Shall Not Kill but that is perfectly acceptable to society in many circumstances. That is ignored. That is certainly worse than who you love. They also would not be for judging and hating other people. If you study all of the current religious texts you will find much the same message just told in a different way by culture. God/The Higher Power created EVERYONE! There are not only going to be mostly white Christians in the afterlife for God's sake! That same Bible says ALL are welcome in my father's house. If God or Jesus don't like anybody it's the murderers of this world and the people that chose to hate other people because they are different than them. But I assume if you ask for forgiveness for being hateful and judgmental then God will likely forgive you.

@@marniekilbourne608 He does actually care. It was ever designed that relationship, marriage is espoused in the unity of man and woman, a unity in difference. And this was Gods absolute truth and since the beginning of time, its always unchanging. The bible was written by man as they are led by the Holy Spirit to write it. Gods moral law is unchanging still and just because we live in a modern day we like to think that these moral standards are not applicable nor redundant. Homosexuality is still and always will be a sin through and through. But there is hope, when we accept Christ, we are no longer identified by our sinful past. Thats what makes the gospel the best news ever.

in order for me to inherit the kingdom of my Father, I must turn away from that sin. Gays who are not willing to give it up and continue to live that lifestyle are playing a dangerous game with God. He did not create us to be gay. We were deceived by Satan into believing that we could be and we gave into those desires. For most practicing homosexuals, they do not know the truth. They can open their bible and just read and pray for understanding and pray that the Lord will open their eyes to his truth. He did for me. He peeled these scales away from my eyes and I can finally see that truth. Evil did this to me and I let it. I too believed that I was born this way and that no one could change me. But I did not understand. I understand now. I can see it.

Behr Smith yes, I was washed by the blood of the Lamb. I now have a peace in my heart and now know where I am going when I die. Truth sounds like hate to those who hate truth. I will not be deceived by anyone. Jesus changed me because I asked him for the truth and he gave it to me, not the ones you call "homophobic Christians". It's all about my relationship with Jesus my King, not about the relationship with any human or this world. Once you find the truth, it will set you free.

Create a routine, wake up by greeting God, like - Good Morning Father God/Jesus/Holy Spirit - declare a word , like - this is the day that the Lord has made, read the inspired Word of God, praise and worship (pray in tongues). Wake up one hour before you start anything else. Put an alarm and do so. Show how much you want to know your Father. More you draw closer, you will experience His living presence all around you. Ask Him questions and doubts you have. You will hear Him. Filter all you watch and hear that which is demonic, ungodly (fruitless in your life), let it go and say "God help me and I need your help". Pray immediately for help when you struggle. Then before you sleep, pray over your room, bless your bed, sleep, praise, ask for dreams and visions. Thank Him for the day and that you are still breathing and alive. Ask Him to show you more about His Kingdom. Amen... cultivate this routine for 6 months and add other healthy routines like gym, eating healthy, listening to good word, surrounding yourself with positive people, pray for others needs... You may like Sidroth interviews with great men and women of God. Increase your talents. Jesus Bless you my friend. He will never give up on you. He wants you. He is a good good Father. He knows all your feelings and temptations. Just let Him in to help you, so you can live by Spirit breath Word and be lead by Holy Spirit.

Rusty Writer, I think people in these stories are shamed into denying their true selves simply because their friends and family can’t accept them. They use religion as an excuse to hide their sexuality and live a lifestyle which is acceptable to their family. They are not truly happy. They are living someone else life, not their own life and their truth.

tyler He already tells you what He allows through His word, which is the Bible because He is the Word. When you love someone you don't take their forgiveness for granted n continue to hurt that person; God is the same way. There's no place for sin to stand in His presence, He's too perfect n Holy n you'll feel so ashamed n terrified standing before Him that you'll want to hide but there will be nowhere to go. Yet He offers you a way out through trusting in Jesus n you reject it for temporary lust n fleshly satisfaction. Your sin amongst others killed Him n put Him on a cross. You really think that there will be great enough of an excuse when you stand before Him n try to plead your case? How you loved partaking in the very acts that He died for? The ones He died for, just to set you free from its grip n death ? Don't deceive yourself, it's either you believe in what He says n you believe that He has the power to change your desires to match his or you continue to keep sinning like the devil. When you begin to spend time with Jesus in His word n speaking with Him, there's absolutely no way that you cant be transformed in your thinking n how you see sin N how God perceives it. Anything you put higher than God is idol worship n He should always be first in our lives, that's where fulfilling, unexplainable joy comes from, not in temporary pleasures. Are you all in? Cus you can't be lukewarm, it won't work. That's the most loving thing I can do is tell you the truth. Ps. This is coming from someone who used to practice bisexuality. Things that are impossible when man is possible with God; It's a matter of if you believe that. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor MEN WHO HAVE SEX WITH MEN 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what SOME of you WERE. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

Thank you for sharing your story. Same thing happened to me from a very young age and eventually I accepted it as my identity for several years. During that time God was pursuing me, although I didn't know it. One day out of no where I said, "God if you are real, show me." A little bit of time went by and then God did just what I had asked Him to do. He revealed Himself to me in a vision and told me I was not living to be what He created me to be, but what the world had shaped me to be. (psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.) I began to hear God speaking to me from that day forward and developed a real relationship with the Creator. He delivered me from meth addiction and supernaturally healed my body of an incurable disease called HIV. Today I am so on fire for God and going forward in ministry to fullfill my true God given purpose and destiny in the earth. He has taught the way of healing and deliverance from strongholds. Be blessed in this year of complete victory brother and dont be moved by what people say. Keep speaking the truth.

So....why are you so bothered by these testimonies that you would be compelled to go through and add a negative comment on anyone who supports it and loves Jesus? It's ok, know that you are loved and above all you are loved by the Lord more than you can ever imagine. You were worth going to cross for and you are a valuable person. No matter what you've ever done, God still deeply loves you and will forgive you, love you, and accept you if you ever decide to turn to Him.

The bible is NOT infallible. It got the entire solar system wrong. It got humanity's biggest moral issue wrong (slavery). The bible says to stone a woman to death on her wedding night in front of her father's house if she can't 'prove' she is a virgin. Deut 22, which shows us the medical knowledge was that of men of the time who assumed a broken hymen could only happen if a woman had intercourse. We know now that is very wrong. The bible can't even get the resurrection story straight. Who did Jesus first appear to? In which city? to men or to angels? One or two? Thousands of contradictions in the bible. And there are multiple translations which contradict one another. If you want to say you believe in 'THE ORIGINAL WRITINGS OF THE BIBLE' then you already believe in something that doesn't exist. The bible evolved over time. Jewish leaders, Roman leaders, Catholic leaders, Protestant leaders all had big fights over what was in and what was out. Over 4 dozen gospels and many, many epistles were written. Most of 'the bible' was tossed in the trash to make it the way you know it now.

I think that some times people are taught by our society to believe they are attracted to the same sex. Obviously I am not saying that was the case with you but I had an experience which can only be described as social conditioning. I am heterosexual and have always been. In fact its a family joke that when I was 5 I told my mom I loved George a classmate and was in love with the singer of "Tears for Fears" lol. Fast forward decades, I met this girl who is a lesbian and she came onto me at some point. For a split second I thought "maybe people are right, maybe we should have same sex relationships as sexuality is fluid". Now, I wasnt attracted to her but this thought popped into my head. And it was based on social conditioning. The rhetoric they use nowadays influences people. I believe many young people are going to start dating people of the same sex believing it is "normal". I am beginning to think that this homosexual identity is being thrust upon.

Becket mentions that he felt different at a very young age, which is what a lot of gay people say. He, eventually, grows up and makes friends as an adult and starts to date guys hoping to find that one guy he could fall in love with. Interestingly, he does what a lot of single people do: He dates guys hoping the guy would save him and give him a reason to live. A mistake on anyone's part, gay or straight. At this point, his story sounds like any gay person growing up. Becket then says that Christianity was not an option for him so he pushed God and the thought of God to the back of his mind. He said it as if God can only be found in Christianity. God is not limited to any one religion but some in humanity seem to think that God belongs to only Christianity. I can only assume that Becket was raised a Christian and had some level of Christian indoctrination, making him feel like Christianity was not the option for him while he identified as a gay man. If that's not the case, then he may have heard various Christian views on the homosexual issue here and there which caused him to associate it being unacceptable with the Christian faith. Christianity is, after all, the seemingly more predominant religion in the Western world. When a person like Becket thinks about something being a sin to God, they tend to gravitate, mentally, towards the Christian faith since it is the faith view that is most predominant. As such, they conclude it's unacceptable. My point is to say that Becket already had a mindset that viewed homosexuality as a sin. That view was, possibly, based on what he heard in Christianity (not being raised a Christian) or having been raised one. Whichever the case, that was his mindset even before he went to his friend's church. One day, Becket sees some bibles on a coffee shop table. Apparently, Becket was with some friends and one of them is a Christian. Here, again, Becket mentions his relationship with Christianity and how it's his enemy. Nonetheless, he is fascinated with it. I wonder when his fascination with Christianity took a hold of him. His friend invites Becket to church and, based on how Becket describes his day at the church, he is converted in a moment's time by the Holy Spirit. No mention of his accepting Jesus as his personal savior as is the usual modern day Christian process. Maybe he did but just didn't mention it? Not everyone has the same experience. As such, I am not one to conclude that homosexuailty is wrong because of one person's personal experience. Sure, there are several people who might be able to relate to Becket's journey but there are also just as many who have the opposite experience who are still gay without having any kind of conversion and they are happy and Christians. I am happy for Becket because he found his happiness. Just as I am for anyone who might identify as gay who has found their happiness. The world would be a much better place if someone like Becket and someone who is gay respected one another and treated each other in the way they would want to be treated. I think that is far more important to Christ than whatever faith or religion one identifies as. After all, Jesus did say that 'doing unto others as you would have them do unto you' is the Law (and the prophets)(Matthew 7:12). Meaning, it is the most important of all.

Not everyone who is plagued with same sex attraction gives into it and wants it. A motivated person can overcome those "feelings" or impressions and live a normal, healthy life with therapists who know what they are doing. Some just give in because they don't have an emotional support system around them or they simply don't realize that they have a choice. It isn't easy overcoming sexual urges but there is good help available for men who need it and want it. Most men do not want to have a same sex attraction.

I’ve been battling homosexual desires since I was very young. I was molested by one of my uncles school friends...I didn’t know it was wrong, I asked him what he was doing and he stopped...I became obsessed with that moment from that point on...didn’t have a father growing up so when my body reached sexual maturity I confused the longing for a relationship with my dad and sexual desires together.....so I wanted the love of my dad but was looking for it in other men. I got fulfilled seeing guys lust over me and tell me how bad they wanted me to please their sexual hunger....I thought it was showing love. It wasn’t, I ended up in an abusive relationship and got heavy into drugs and contracted HIV.....so now I’m kindling the relationship and leaning on Jesus to be everything I need and want.

I notice that he doesn't say he's attracted to women now. I think it's sad that he sets up a false dichotomy between being gay and believing in god, and i think he misrepresents his gay lifestyle (by saying that all he cared about was his career and finding a partner) in order to argue for that dichotomy. it sounds like he was pretty heavy into the party scene, which is fine, but also is definitely isolating and lonely. it's often a phase people go through before they, you know, get a dog, a therapist, find a religion that accepts them, and chill out. you can still have a spiritual practice and be gay at the same time. you don't have to deny your sexuality. it's just a harder path. but that is the challenge of being human. He doesn't have to say that he is attracted to women now. It is a process, just like it is a process for other to come out and say that they are gay. God is working on him and his heart and if he chooses to be single and have a heart for God, then so be it. That's exactly what I did and I am happy. We don't need or have to have another person to validate us when Jesus has our heart. Otherwise that would be false representation of one self and what God can do. When he is ready to be with a woman it will happen and God will make sure that it is the one for him! Blessings to you.

1fishmob Straight people choose to date people of the opposite sex. What is your point? Everybody chooses who they date. Sexual orientation is about sexual attraction. You don't have a choice as to who you are sexually attracted to. Do you think that straight people make a conscious choice to be attracted to the opposite sex? Of course you don't. So why would you think that gay people make a conscious choice to be attracted to the same-sex? To say ones sexual orientation is a choice is the very same as saying that somebody can choose to like drinking sour milk. This video is nothing other than a propaganda video created for the homophobic agenda. One of the most important lessons we can get out of this is not to believe every bit of bullshit on the internet.

At the end of the day, he's still into male and is not into female, but no matter how painfull life of celebacy is, u should still do it for JESUS, cause at the end of the road there's eternal joy waiting for u, but if u give unto these things there's eternal pain and sorrow waiting for u, because u gave ur self into a life of half happiness, cause no lgbt person no matter how happy he is with his life he knows that if things were not the way they r, he would be happier. Some time ago I'd agree with this but now I know there's nothing wrong with being queer, it was just a prejudice and internalized homophobia within me. That goes without saying one doesn't choose to be queer as well as nobody chooses to be heterosexual but what you can decide is whether to be Christian or not. PS If you don't agree with me I hope you react like Christ and not like a Pharisee.

Marcos this was a beautiful testimony and I know that is not an accident that you came across this video. Sin is anything we think, we say or do that goes against God's word and his commandments. Our sin really breaks God's heart, I know He loves you very much because His word says that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Please consider taking time to think about this and when you're alone just ask God to reveal to you his will about this. I'll be praying for you! Life is short but your soul is eternal. You are the only one who can make the choice, eternity in the Holy and loving presence of God or eternity separated from Him. Love! Erika

Nonsense. Men and women who are incarcerated choose to be gay and engage in gay sex during their prison stints. Sexuality and sexual orientation are typically FALSELY paralleled with biological sex and race. Black people who are adopted by white people do not become white, even though they may pick up cultural things that are common in the white culture.

It is very difficult for many thinkers to imagine that homosexuality exists. This is because diversity is not taught within the church, upbringing and school. Homosexuality has always existed and is a natural variation. It is what it is. To counteract this is the same as complaining that the sun shines every day. Not accepting, that which is, is harmful and degrading for the person concerned. Love = Love 😊

One time a thing occured to me... Why was it that the earliest attractions I had to women have shifted to change into what I see as a 'type' that I like today? Why do I not find Jessica Alba at all attractive when I once found her to be so breathtaking. I also suffered from an identity disorder, and I spent the better part of five years deeply confused and depressed. I spent time with myself even still, looking for a notable, definite answer to define who I really was. I had friends who were gay and bi who nudged me in their direction. I gained a special feeling about myself entertaining the idea that there was something special about me, even though deep down I WAS, and I knew it was so. It was were my confidence came. It was instilled in me through my upbringing as well as my devotion to something. To my art. There was another though: My sex drive was a part of me, but I am ME. My movement of my body, the use of my voice, these are what drives women toward me. What women do in those standard, universal terms when they apply their mind to the way they walk, the same way I apply mentality to my own stride, will draw the body others were born with. I spent so much of my life focused on the way I conducted and communicated in my daily life. Enhanced my own identity. One last thought. Men, women, we are made of shapes. We are all shaped a little differently. Designed for ourselves, and yet it is what we do with that when we use our minds that matters. Shapes are only attractive when we apply feeling to them. That's that. The entire process that goes on before that happens behind the mind has to do with other things entirely. You are always in control. You are not a slave to your own impulses and your own desires. Your lack of self-esteem, the way others see you. Trust me the only ones who are capable of speaking on the matters of true self, of destiny ARE the spiritual ones. Those who blast their opinions today...take away natural identity, nagging and wearing down morale...they correct language/create proper pronouns and titles for us all to use...or they break down what is sacred for the sake of being revolutionary...they tell people to completely ignore what I am saying and just ACCEPT! ACCEPT!...when people like me speak up to raise the idea that the human mind and the human spirit must be atested...we instantly run out of the debate... these folks care more about the way they are seen by others more than any selfless devotion to improve the lives of others. We are much more than pronouns. Much more than the clothes, class, priveleges and languages we abide by. We are carpenters, models, patrollers and policers. Entrepreneurs, teachers, drifters, guides, writers and actors. Choose God. He will show you the love you need and the life you were made to live, and that's truth

Lindani, Bishop Tutu said it best: "We struggled against apartheid in South Africa, supported by people the world over, because black people were being blamed and made to suffer for something we could do nothing about - our very skin. It is the same with sexual orientation. It is a given. I could not have fought against the discrimination of apartheid and not also fight against the discrimination that homosexuals endure, even in our churches and faith groups. I am proud that in South Africa, when we won the chance to build our own new constitution, the human rights of all have been explicitly enshrined in our laws. My hope is that one day this will be the case all over the world, and that all will have equal rights. For me this struggle is a seamless robe. Opposing apartheid was a matter of justice. Opposing discrimination against women is a matter of justice. Opposing discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is a matter of justice. It is also a matter of love. Every human being is precious. We are all - all of us - part of God’s family. We all must be allowed to love each other with honor. Yet all over the world, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people are persecuted. We treat them as pariahs and push them outside our communities. We make them doubt that they too are children of God. This must be nearly the ultimate blasphemy. We blame them for what they are. Churches say that the expression of love in a heterosexual monogamous relationship includes the physical - the touching, embracing, kissing, the genital act; the totality of our love makes each of us grow to become increasingly godlike and compassionate. If this is so for the heterosexual, what earthly reasons have we to say that it is not the case with the homosexual? The Jesus I worship is not likely to collaborate with those who vilify and persecute an already oppressed minority."

I love LGBT people. All I am testifying about is that Jesus helped me, I am not saying it to oppress our brothers and sisters, all I'm saying is Jesus loves them too and He desires the them all to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth being reconciled to God in all manner. We all know God doesn't change from His truth and His principles. Sin is a sin no matter how we can define it with our constitutions of this world, God punishes it. 1 Timothy 1:10 read it. Unless if we want the misleading gospel as 1 Timothy 4:1- 2 speaks. But if a man comes to Christ irrespective of the lifestyle or orientation they are made new. All things of the old man passes away 2 Corinthians 5:17. I am convinced most pastors speak contral to the bible they carry. Love warns! and love speaks truth only. All of us must run to Christ who has all power to save and judge accordingly than trusting words of men.

Awesome video. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I believe Jesus can do anything. I'm currently reading the Gospel of Matthew, which talks about all of Jesus's miracles. Jesus calmed a raging storm, fed 5000 with only a few loaves of bread, healed the sick, and raised a girl from the dead. If he can do such amazing things as that, than he can definitely help someone who identifies as homosexual. Christ knows change isn't easy, but he's here to help everyone of us with our own individual sins. He loves us all equally no matter what our sins are. I hope all homosexuals reading this comment know that the Gospel is for everyone, so please don't let anyone stop you from reading it! God bless everyone

Yes, so it says....but what has God or Jesus done lately? Have they retired? That book was written by MAN not by God!! It has also been heavily edited over hundreds of years by men. It also has things that make zero sense and it contradicts itself. It contains some good morality tales for those who don't know how to be decent human beings on their own. God/Jesus/The Higher Power gave US as individuals the power to do our best and lead a kind and loving life. Sexuality is something you are born with and if God created you then you are just the way you are meant to be! What I do think they are likely not happy with is our capacity to judge and hate other people. For there always being a war going on in the world. Those are choices, sexuality is not.

That is because he is tapping into something almost all people feel and is trying to blame his sexual orientation rather than deal with his real issues. He is just trying to seek validation in a group of Christians rather than sexual promiscuity. That is something heterosexual, bisexual and homosexual face. He is not dealing with his real issues and the end result will be more wasted years until he realizes he has not dealt with his real mental health issues.

Hey man I came to say this in a nice loving tone. I am first of all sorry if the church has hurt you. I am Ex-LGBT and I love you as a human being as I love myself. I see a great human being in you and I think that God is proud of you for doing that and I also commend you for doing that. I didn't choose to be homosexual either but I did know that I couldn't practice homosexuality. But as I went through my journey with God I didn't hear him say one time that I was going hell because I was homosexual. All I heard hil say was that he loves me and he loved me while I was homosexual. I understand why you feel that you were born that way. Basically all I am saying is I love you whether you are living i homosexually or not or whether you are attracted towards men or women Now I would ask you to respond your feelings in a respectful way as I did to you and I really would appreciate it if you would respond and just tell me how you feel because as a christian and as person who is called to ministry in this issue I want to know how people feel and I want understand others feel. and I have no stones to throw at you all I want you to do is see me as a person as I see you. 💒💒 Thank you.

When people believe they are born that way it's called an embedded lie. The enemy plants these thoughts in your head and then you start to believe them. I used to think I was gay, and I used to pray and tell God that this is who I am, but it isn't. Sure, homosexual people may say they feel true love, but that's not what God wanted for you. Your dead Dr. Pimple, I mean Whitehead, quoted outdated info that was shown to be diametrically wrong. THE WORLD PSYCHIATRIC ASSOCIATION HAS JOINED WITH EVERY NATIONAL MEDICAL ASSOCIATION IN EXPLAINING SEXUAL ORIENTATION IS NOT A CHOICE, IT'S A TRAIT. THERE IS NO CURE BECAUSE SEXUAL ORIENTATION IS NOT AN ILLNESS. THERE ARE MOUNTAINS OF EVIDENCE THAT BIOLOGY IS THE DETERMINANT OF ORIENTATION.
