She is the 2nd most experienced MP in the house. She was been an MP since 1984 so it is high time she was appointed the DPM. She knows more about parliamentary procedure than everyone else there. So experience is on her side. Traditionally, she is one of the highest ranking chiefs in the country. So the culture is on her side. Politically, she is much more level headed and not prone to personal attacks than every single male MP in the house.
