After the 350 four started getting beaten by Agos triple Soichiro san had the RC166 bored as far as it would go and got 297cc. Was Hailwood's favourite Honda.

@@TheHarryMann We saw Mike riding the Honda -6 many times, including The Isle of Man TT's in 1966, and 1967! Fantastic times.. Saw Ago drop his MV3 on paddock bend at Brands Hatch whilst chasing Mike on the 6!!

Should have heard in it in the 60s, really being wrung out to dry, screaming and howling . Hailwood would do whatever it took to stay ahead or win… even taking the sixes well past their redlines. He once got his mechanic at a test track, to remove the Japanese rear shocks, grabbed them and shouting at the Honda mechanics, threw them into the lake (probably Mallory Park). Despite being most insulted, I think they got the point 😀

@@holgerlange2065 If they're not Allan Millyard replicas and from the Honda museum - There's probably a curator telling them if they hand grenade one- they're destroying a piece of irreplaceable history. Other than that I have no clue.

Do you own this George Beale Replica and the one of the original 297’s? I believe Honda only made 2 of the 297’s. If your answer to the first question is yes, can I ask who you bought them from. Many thanks for the on board video, great quality.

Rem oulton park. Hailwood agostini. Hailwood played a few laps, lulled us into thinking no big deal. Then he just cleared off.Could hear pin drop. After Norton singles hearing the 6 was unreal. Hailwoods angle of lean on the tyres of the day, goodness. Doesn’t seem to be revving much in this film. Who’s the mental cripple thinks music helps.
