@Rb The mechanic hey man it’s me again 2004 Honda Accord ex 2.4 so the other day I took it to the same shop I got the compressor from we found out it was a ac line that went from the compressor to the condenser it was leaking out both ends and that’s the reason why it would go in and be gone before the day is over

Should i check for leaks even if I'm changing the compressor?

I don’t think you need to if ur system had enough refrigeration when u recovered it before u take out compressor but once’s u out the 2 lines back on make sure u change out the o rings on seals and it seats nice and good and there shouldn’t be leaks

Do I need to add oil after replacing?

If ur part didn’t have oil in it yes also machine pulls out oil so I usully add same amount that came out

I’m having ac problems the shop installed a new compressor throws cold air butt wen I step on the gas I hear a loud air coming from the compressor I see. Green stuff coming out and Freon leak out in the air from the ac compressor dats every time I step on the gas

Oh no take it back might not have been good sealed on the lines or compressor it self

Question I’m taking out my ac condenser to put a new one the condenser won’t leak any oil right ones I take out the hose from the condenser

@@CMDBoy u have to recover the Freon and all from the system and it still will have oil in it not lot tho keep it tilted to one side and it will not 💧 drip

I accidentally took off the bottom one and all the pressure came out. I don’t want to even touch the upper one . How do I recover whatever is in the upper one now ?
