I appreciated your showing the bits you had to push on to remove the plastic parts.... in my 2013 Honda Fit Sport, the vent air (not the AC) is literally more than 30 degrees Fahrenheit hotter than the outside air. I’m working myself up to doing this repair.

Hi Fix It Quick - Your detailed video was awesome. Hope you can clarify what the fix is - the hvac control (window - face - foot vent mode) or the actual blend door which is called Air Mix motor.

For your 2003-2007 Accord with dual climate control, the part you showed is NOT the blend door but it is only the Mode Motor Assembly. This motor is for changing the mode such as window defrost, face vent, or foot vent. The part you changed is 79140-Sda-A01. The passenger side temperature motor is the common part that makes the soft clicking noise. The part number is 79170-SDC-A41.

@@mobbinkorrectly If you drop the glovebox down, you will see both. You question was not clear enough if you are looking for the ‘mode’ activator or the ‘blend door’ for a dual climate control Accord.

Would be nice to know what problem was being addressed. No Ac or Heating on Passenger side, or driver side. Why problem was caused by the bad actuator?

@@fixitquick I'm having the same issue. My actuator making clicking noise. The temp is not hot but slightly warm. Was yours the same? I saw vids show two actuators (1 in your vid and 2 right behind the glove compartment. How did you determine which to replace? BTW, thank you for the vid

@@Nemesis74racer it was the same it was warm so I replaced the mix blender actuator . The other one is called flapper actuator so if all your settings are working fine you need to replace the blender actuator .
