Honda accord rear / drum brake replacement (2003-2007)

Those two holes in the drum “are not” suppose to have screws in them. Those holes are to screw in 8mm bolts to help remove the drum if it’s hard to come off.

Very misleading for a Newby, they will say oh, let me find 2 bolts to put jn there, since they should always be there

Those holes are so you can put two bolts in and run them down to pull the drum off.

Has no one else had issue where the pad has worn into the drum to where there is a lip so you can't get off? Last time I used bolts to force off but bent brake shoe retainer ears. There has to be some slot to back out the pad adjuster?

My drum does not want to fit back on, and I adjusted everything closed it all the way and it still does not fit! What can it be?? Should I buy new drums? Please I really need the help, thank you

I had the same problem with the left side and it was a nightmare, try to squeeze the pads with one hand while you mouth the drum eventually it'll go in place , if you buy new drums it'll be even harder because they are slightly thicker so my friend don't give up and keep on trying and you put a little bit of grease right on the edge of the pads where the drum touches first it'll help some .
