I have both the scooter, only one thing is best in activa that is intial pick of activa is gud compare to Jupiter. But all others feature are not available with activa. I think the Jupiter is clear winner.

Hi. I have few questions. I have buy a new TVS Jupiter BS4 and have runned 650 Kms. Q1. Which transmission/gear oil brand with specification should I used for my TVS Jupiter? Q2. Is it safe to use TVS Jupiter's engine oil into Transmission as a Transmission/Gear oil ? Both TVS Jupiter Manual and service centre guys recommended to use only the TVS TRU4 Premium Semi-Synthetic engine oil (SAE-10W30 API-SL, JASO-MA2) into the transmission as a gear oil. But according to outside mechanic and also online forums it is recommended to use SAE-90 Gear oil for Transmission of gearless scooters. What should I do? Q3. I feel some metal friction sound coming from gears of rear tyres at speed of 40 to 60kmph mostly with pillion or sometimes without pillion. Jupiter run 650 kms and also 1st service is done few days ago. They used the engine oil into the transmission as a gear oil. They said that this problem will gone after 5000kms. But I don't think so. Why I got this problem and what is the solution?

Hi, I have a 2012 Jupiter 24000 clocked no prob yet. but the front shocks spring started making sound , mechanics says it needs to be replaced . Also I wanted to know whether the taillights are on without brakes operated ? but I don't think that it will drain the battery coz taillight has LED . THANKS

Jupiter s best coz of comfort, mileage and features. As.i have Jupiter classic bought 9 days back. Activa little heavy while keep on mai stand and jupiter light if you pull on main stand. Kick are easy to start as activa quite hard for older or young people diffult to start by kick n activa. Guys activa now common not giving much features only power torque. Jupiter wins for average and features. I have activa 3g and also taken test drive of activa 4g. Jupiter worth to buy. If you dnt believe take test drive and feel difference.👍

Raj San I am using Honda bike from past 10 years, still the engine best like a new one, it feels great when the machine never gives a single problem after riding 60,000 Km.. Writing on the basis of experience. And also I have noticed whenever I heard a sound of knocking (its a phenomenon with faulty SI engines, gives abnormal sound ) on road it always turns out to be TVS, that for sure.

Bro it a urgent message so please read it and reply or any viewers are seeing my message than please leave a reply......i have purchased jupiter zx disc variant after riding it for 7-8 days and i have noticed that the mileage it is giving is 33-35 and when i get my problem to the tvs serive care they told me that "all new tvs jupiter before 1st service will give 30kmpl and it will give 45kmpl after 1st service".... U want real powerful scooter and for long run then go for activa, u want features like chinese phones then jupiter, i have both but performance of activa is not only better but way ahead of jupiter, and jupiter feels like crying for power and not gonna last long and have a lot of problems like leaking oil and petrol etc and sensors also and i m amazed to c that no o e is discussing that on any review, just buying scooter for suspension and disc brakes not gonna help, u wanna know the truth?? Go to any showroom of honda and tvs and u will know what people like most, jupiter is 2nd after activa but tbe gap here is almost 5 times.
