Where did you get the replacement compressor? Can't find that sanden tr-70 anywhere. Tried the newer model trs050 and mechanic said it doesn't work due to one using v belt and other needing serpentine

As I recall It's the original on this van. AC system was being serviced by the seller when I bought the van back in 2019~ish. Gave me a discount when I told him I would reassemble the system if it let me take it home sooner. We shook hands and I reassembled the system in this video.

You should be able to just swap out the pulley. Worse comes to worse, simply make a pulley yourself with a 3d printer. Test fit, then send the cad drawing off to UCUT or something like that to make 1 off pieces cheap.

Where did you find your compressor? They just told me i need ac compressor frm the broker i got my street van frm 😢..they said 300 to replace and add freon before they ship it out

Luckily got it from Nippon Imports when I bought it. It was lacking the compressor as the old failed and they had not swapped it the replacement yet. So I got a discount on the van.

How much refrigerant did you end up adding?

I dont recall, also I did not have a way to accurately measure the amount used. I cant even reference that now. However to determine how much I needed without the known oz's I had pressure gauges attached. I filled until the system was readying 55 psi on the low side and about 270psi on the high side. High side can fluctuate depending on outside temperature so resort to an AC chart guide to give you the proper PSI to have for your current outside air temp.

Yes. Charged and blowing cold.
