+vac0002 Cheers Vac I appreciate the comment and view mate. I always think real riders and owners give better reviews, well maybe not better but more honest.

good review - when you showed the bike in profile I thought it looked a bit like the r1200 GS - except of course for the motor configuration. I can't honestly say that I have loved every bike I owned - my experience is that you really don't fall in love with a bike until you've put some miles on it. Back in '93 (I think - might have been '94) I had a BMW K100rt. Fantastic bike but not the bike for me as it turned out. I sold it 5 months after I bought it. Now that I have had my R1200 GS for a mere 4 days I can already say that I LOVE this bike.

Hi buddy. Great choice of bike! What have you done to the Tracer?
@SurfPilot8 жыл бұрын
+Sky Rider Hi my friend, i missed the adventure style of riding so, I traded it in for this, the tracer was and is an amazing bike, and i loved how mine looked, I simply just missed the grunt of a twin.

did you get shut of your CRF250M? If so was it for any particular reason?
@SurfPilot8 жыл бұрын
David Lister I kept it mate, it's a perfect little second bike for pulling out when you just want to scratch about locally.

how is it compare to FJ09. thank u
@SurfPilot8 жыл бұрын
It's a different bike completely the Africa twin is definitely a more comfortable and a true adventure bike, the parallel twin engine is totally different to the FJ in everyway, but it still does well over 100MPH but in far more comfort, I do prefer the torque twin and it's riding style over the FJ but they really are 2 different bikes

I have not one bad word to say about the Africa Twin, I rate it better than I did my BMWR1200GS, it just munches up the miles, and is great off road too if you want to go down some tracks, I am off to the Alps on mine in a few weeks!

MCN = More Crap News. Mags have done countless damage to motorcycles since I started riding in 1973, having owned in excess of 25 machines, I have never owned a bad one!

you're not wrong, I've loved every bike I have owned at that time
