I have been using honda from last 12 years but don't want to buy honda again due to less features, no parts available out side , poor suspension, poor NVH, overpriced service cost ....only ivtec refinement is the reason to consider it but koi bharosa nahi ki aaj ye car purchase karne par engine jyada chalega ya honda as a company jayada chalegi India me tab tak😂

Person said of you book in next 3 days on table we will give best price below 10.70L. I'm not sure why 1 Lac discount upfront although I'm not exchanging. Suggest me what should be the reason so that it will be easier to negotiate further. Kia Sonet HTK 1.2 MT offering 10.74L on-road. On this price they are offering 25k discount only. On table they will bring down a little that what I felt based on conversation. Please suggest which one to buy? Thanks in advance!

As someone who has driven both New Dzire and Amaze I can confirm that even 3-cylinder Dzire has way better performance and refinement than Amaze's engine. Also Dzire has better Noise insulation too. Dzire's Engine Pulls nicely beyond 1800rpm and has a good linear midrange, while Amaze's engine flat all the way from 1800-3500 rpm which makes Amaze difficult to drive and underpowered. However Amaze only show good performance beyond 4000rpm to 6500rpm but in Daily driving this performance is useless. Comfort in both cars was good but front seats in Dzire were bigger. Dzire has better safety rating and it also reflected in driving dynamics too where I felt Dzire has much better stability than Amaze. The Cabin in Dzire was also silent compared to Amaze. Also in terms of looks and Modernity Dzire feels a better car. So Dzire is a better car than Amaze.

@@GreatGeek-w3u better safety ratings? Amaze was 4 star with stable body shell when Dzire still used to be a tin can, and about performance check out 0-100 for both cars in various channels and you will know the difference between 4cyl and 3 cyl 😂

Amaze is more safe car than Dzire, sponsored crash ratings hardly matter in real crashes but ADAS can prevent accidents and that makes Amaze more safe.

I really like it's front design. Do you think even after marketing both dzire and amaze to be ' desired', be able to beat the suv craze??. My family bought dzire in 2017 and was top selling at that time, though it wasn't desirable due to it also being taxi's choice. Now it also has to face the suv trend. 😢

Planning for first car. Asking for suggestions. Looking for family car. Easy to use and maintain. Never driven car before. CVT is preferred. Shortlisted 2 options. Budget on road is 13L. 1. Amaze VX CVT 12.30 L quotation. * Showroom and service centre is near my home so this is big plus. * looks are average. * felt suspension was just okay 2. Magnite Acenta/Nconnecta CVT - didn't get quotation. Price on website is 11.7 L for Acenta and 12.80 Lfor Nconnecta. Might get some discount. * Lack of nearby showroom and service centre is a concern * I like the looks. * yet to take test drive Please advise. Thanks.

Here are my few observations, it would be great if can correct my course The probable buyer of Honda Amaze are customers who want strictly want sedan but are not comfortable with having Suzuki logo, customer who have been generational Honda customer and now want a smaller honda that too sedan and customer who want sedan with CVT. The problem is that genuinely those customers are in very limited number and are declining, the reason is pretty simple that majorly customer who are buying car of budget 13L on road are mostly from tier 2 cities and below where the road infra are not good and customer of such cities want their car look big (though there is no logic why they want that) , so amaze does not fit this bill. I cannot understand why Honda is so adamant to put amaze still on their India's portfolio. In my opinion they can let go amaze and introduce city Hatchback, this will atleast bring volumes for them and bring city Hatchback with strong hybrid tech though it will cost somewhere 16L but atleast being smaller car they enjoy sub 4meter taxations. They should also introduce WR-V, this also a product they can get it from thailand market, the Thailand market's WRV is 4006mm and I guess they can redesign WRV in sub 4 metre that that too with strong Hybrid. Also they should introduce stripped out version of City Hatchback, WRV, CITY sedan, Elevate with just Strong hybrid that might work very well in India. Imagine getting sub 4metre hondas with striong hybrid in under 16L on road.

For 10 lakh ex-showroom price, auto makers may get only 7.5 to 8 lakh.. it’s our govt charging hefty tax of upto 2 lakhs. On top of it, we have to pay Road tax and registration fee. I feel Honda has done their best with features in this price range and asking us to go accessories as per our needs.

Thank you for a great and honest review. Regards Desire's safety ratings, I have my doubts. Why? Please compare crash test videos of Desire with say of XUV 3X0. Desire is thrown way behind (like paper thrown) by impact of the crash, whereas 3X0 just shakes and moves just a little. BTW, you haven't spoken about stability in cornering and steering wheel feedback. Between Desire and Amaze I will go for Amaze

Honda has failed to realise that many buyers who opt for top variant don’t want only top quality features but at the same time expect a fully loaded car with good aesthetic appeal .The top variant zx should have been provided with leatherette seats , armrest , leather wrapped steering wheel, auto dimming IRVM and led cabin lights as in elevate top trim . The interiors are not at par with top variant of elevate . Honda must launch an optional zx variant with all the above mentioned features. In the era of vast competition Honda needs to pay heed to customer feedback to survive in Indian market . Only reliable Japanese engine is not enough in present scenario to allure buyers

Sunroof is not needed bcoz it's. Gimmic feature and not used in daily routine and also Sunroof in car make a car roof weaker and all body structure of car weak New dzire me bhi small sunroof hai na ki panaromic sunroof bcoz Maruti know giving big Panaromic sunroof is a wrong decision bcoz it's a budget friendly sedan and not a luxury sedan I will choose amaze over dzire bckz amaze is offering 4 cylinder natural aspirated engine as compared to 3 cylinder unrefined and full of vibration in new dzire engine

Obviously honda over maruti n vw 1.0 virtus for this comparison! Marwari hokr socho who does have the money to spend on 1.5 gt virtus, still this looks much better for ride quality n money, rooj mujhe drag race nai krna, at the same time wants reliability, plus desire ki tarah taxi bhi nai banani .. on any other day i would prefer honda.. you can compare nexon, i mind sound foolish, but what option do I have as a enthusiast and don’t want to spend much? compare nexon top variant with this, 15 lac ke upar dekar still no ride quality like this, uske upar se tata ke service centres.. any day any other brands are better then tata service centres.. socho jisko ride quality with reliability chahiye and in indian market ,skoda started it with kylaq, tb bhi sedan ki ride quality nothing can match, becoz of design design!! Only few people can understand what Im talking about.. kaha 12-13 lac.. kaha 16-17 1.0 gt line vw and gt 1.5 22-23 lac.. gT wale gali nikalenge yaha pr see the amount of money you are spending.. second honda accessories mai option toh de rha h.. maanlo ni deta then?? Tab cost cutting krke gali dete brand ko..13 lac mai kya aa rha h aaj 2025 mai?? Plus 3 cylinder vs 4cylinder ? Basics!?
