I would like to see you do a video on removing casting flash and burrs. Started doing this myself a few years ago with transmission cases inside and out and eventually did my k24a2. I find that removing this excess material helps oil flow better and keeps burrs from possibly breaking off and damaging engine and transmission internals. It also makes them easier to handle when moving them around because some of those casting burrs can be quite sharp!

Yeah that’s something that’s doable in the future… Been doing this since decades ago as it’s a natural step on aircooled vw builds (for those that build well)

You can do this and put old valves in to protect the valve seats, right? I need to order a Z6 remanufactured head and planned on trying to port all of it w/o hurting the fresh cut seats. Any tips?

Im getting my sleeved b18c block from Ramey racing this week. I'm looking at running the BC 92mm stroker kit with the light weight crank and optional light weight rods and going 84.5mm. I have a cnc ported GSR head for it and a ported skunk2 ultra street to match. I'm thinking 12:5:1 compression on e85. I do hillclimbs, road racing and some time attack. Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated. Hoping for 260whp.

@@SRDmotorsports thank you! Big fan of your channel. Please keep doing what your doing. Have you build any stroker motors? We have a boosted civic we compete with as well..the turbo builds to much heat for road racing or time attack when it's really hot.
