Thanks for the video. Isn't it easier to just run the mower out of gas on the last cut of the season instead of adding fuel stabilizer before winter storage?

Sure is. But we see at best a 50/50 success.

My thought, exactly -- especially with today's miserable ethanol-gasoline. However -- although he didn't specifically say so -- I took his suggestion to mean that, monthly during the off seasons, you put in some preserved fuel and run the mower until it's out of gas. My opinion, anyway.

How about the gas cut off and whe should you have it flowing or cut it off?

Use the cutoff when you've finished mowing, each time; then, let the carb use up what's left in the bowl and the line. The cutoff should be engaged whenever you are not using the mower.

Just buy No Ethanol Premium gas and put a few drops of seafoam in the tank once and awhile.

Came here to say exactly that…just buy No Ethanol/non-oxy fuel. There’s even a website where you can find stations near you that sell it!
