What a nice bike!! I just bought the same engine for the same bike, do you know if the original honda exhaust fits the lifan engine??

stephen hanson in the end I think it was an air leak. I've changed the carb and it's much better, great actually. I've recently changed the regulator too and it runs much better again.

Do you have still the lifan 110? It is a good engine or no? Please answer because I want to buy a engine for my c50

It is a pretty good engine. Not as good and reliable as honda but vfm. If you use it right it will last for years

Great! Did you change the front sprocket? Gearing seems right on.

Keith Hunniford yeah, its got a 16 tooth front sprocket and standard rear... which I cant remember what it is. it'll do 60 flat out, which is enough!

That's bonkers ;) I have the same bike and engine and I just switched to a 17 tooth front because there was so much torque with the 14 standard I could happily just use 2,3,4 and it was screaming at 35. With basic carb and a c90 pipe I reckon I could push mine up 50 eventually although haven't tried very hard yet. My goal (achieved) was to make it snappy up to 35 / 40 for general driveability. Just made the change on Saturday and still some snow on the ground so not tested too hard. Thanks for the reply.
