i have the exact same bike, her name is Vera and she is exactly one month younger than myself. she`s a 1972 CB 500-4 F same colour and everything except she has the original 4 into 1 stock exhaust. an utterly wonderful bike to ride, very forgiving. and for a girl in her early 40s` she is holding up very nicely.

That bike sure looks slick for her age! Lot of people forget Honda was one of the best bikes to get back in those years and even earlier. My dad came up in the mid/late 60's riding bikes and in a club. His first bike was a Honda, then a BSA and eventually a Harley. Back then you didn't have all the brands and styles like today. Those old Hondas will run forever!!! I had a friend that wrecked his old banger Honda in a ditch in his front yard and just left it laying there for two years or so. One day he pulled it out, put in fresh gas a new spark plug and charged the battery and it started right up... The only reason my dad quit riding and got out the club he was in is because he married my mom. She didn't like the bikes or his guns and he got rid of em(bikes and guns). Of course they got divorced when I was 3 (I was born in 76). Now he has a safe full of guns and is a competition cowboy action shooter. But I was the one who got him back into guns/shooting once I got old enough to buy em. Crazy how that turned out...
