Just taken my black widow 200mm full system off, and gone back to the stock. Such a relief to the ears. It is like taking a tight pair of shoes off. Nice and quite and peaceful, can here the purr of the engine now. That's me done with aftermarket exhausts. Already have tinnitus from loud music and loud bikes.

I agree, stock system at certain rpm there is an intake roar that you wouldn't hear with louder pipes, bit of character for Honda engineers to build in. Put on a racing tip and you could tell the difference straight away, engine is tuned for the stock muffler big time.

When a younger me had a Subaru WRX - I was in love with the neck snapping take-off .. BUT then I had the middle "box" removed & replaced with a straight-through BIG-BORE .. SO loud & head-achy on long trips that I had to get shot - and realised that I was getting old. - BUT that sounds beaut.

That. Sounds. Nuts. No way I’d get 100m from the garage before having my collar felt by the fuzz!! 😂 Quite jealous of that popping and warrping. Weight saving isn’t too shoddy either. I’m afraid this means we can never ride together though! My bike will likely refuse to run out of embarrassment!

Great instructional video, I watched AndyManCam's too so I've got all the info I need for my new system when it arrives! Decided to go with the SC Project full titanium system with an S1-GP end can. Got it booked in with Jordan Bikes in Leeds for half a day on the dyno and an ECU + throttle remap. I'm hoping mine pops and bangs too but I suspect it won't once it's had a proper tune. My main gripe with this generation of CB's is just how bad EU emission laws make it run from factory! This bike has a lot to offer once it's mapped and a full exhaust system is fitted.

I've had black widow end cans a couple times. Sadly they really don't last, build quality wasn't great and the carbon seemed too get tatty really quickly. The rivets started to separate which was annoying. They're a British company so it's nice to support UK firms, but I'm not paying out fire that lack of quality. Current bike has a Delkevic exhaust on and it's much better!

Great work Mr. Fish! Nice video as always. I’d be interested, in time, to see how the exhausts change colour. One point I’d like to make is it’s always best to handle new exhaust systems with the thin rubber gloves so you don’t leave any finger prints. As these will become permanent once the exhaust gets hot and changes colour. Especially for a full titanium system (which this obviously isn’t). Stay upright and stay safe! 👍😎

Always best to unplug the O2 sensor before you unscrew it. I hope you put a shit load of loctite on that removable baffle. Once you break that factory seal it forever comes loose and you end up losing it.

The chronicles of mr fish, Yeah I know but once you unscrew it and remove it, then put it back, even with loctite on the screw they always seem to work their way lose. At least in my experience. I lost 2 Yoshimura and 1 fmf, and they 35-50 quid a pop. If you not using it though you not have to worry.

So this was a great video, mate. Nice exhaust the and flame pops were cool. I am curious though - will you now need to have the bike dynoed and re-tuned? I was always under the impression that if you replace a full system like this, it needs to be re-tuned or the fueling will be too lean and you can damage the engine? Or is that BS? One of the reasons I have shyed away from a full system - I don't really want to mess with re-tuning the engine...
