That's true and also unfortunate that when the same bike gets manufactured in India quality goes Down. After all such cost cutting I am really not sure why the prices are still on a way higher end. HONDA India should decrease it or rather increase quality.

I just bought the bike from Indira Nagar a couple of weeks ago, so expect smoothness only after 1st service. Compared with Dominar - engine refinement really comes into play. Compared with Duke - serves a different purpose, this one is not meant for adrenaline Cruising speed 90 - 120, smooth AF Update + mileage: 26 - 30 kmpl, city/highways service (free ones) : below 2300. suggestions : add windshield once available

The fact is that you just cannot compare a sports with a naked but still to give a good idea the CB is smoother all through the gears hands down. And being a naked has a good bottom and mid range which you can't expect from a sportsbike. Sportsbikes are commited and generally lack or have no low end. So you have to have a totally different mindset for purchasing one. The RR and similar performance but top end the former shines. But for me the CB is the most handsome naked out there. Purchasing the Honda CB300R in January 2024 has been a deeply disappointing experience due to Honda's sub-standard after-sales service and the unavailability of spare parts. Over the past year, I was only able to ride the bike for seven months, as the service center consistently delays repairs and cites prolonged wait times for parts, claiming they need to be sourced from Thailand-a process that inexplicably takes over a month. In an era where spare parts can be shipped within days, this level of inefficiency is unacceptable. Furthermore, the dealership's association with Reliance Insurance in Pune City raises concerns, as insurance claims are poorly handled, and there appears to be a lack of transparency in their operations. The coordination between the service center and the insurance surveyor suggests potential malpractice, making the entire ownership experience nothing short of a nightmare. Honda must reevaluate its approach to the Indian market, especially when offering premium motorcycles like the CB300R.

I sold my d390 due to niggles. I take care of my bikes very well but KTM just shows up something randomly. Although cb300r is 10ps less than duke i still think honda reliability and ownership exp is much better than with KTM

It's shocking how they have priced this bike, if they ever launch cbr300r it would be around 4lks looking at the price and this engine is from cbr250r just with little mods with stroke, really disappointing even it lacks top end from the CKD
@Moonlight-hq3gi2 жыл бұрын
yeah, price is very high should have been@3-3.10 L on road.. but it has good amount of performance for it's price
@bonjovi13542 жыл бұрын
I wish it was priced around g310 range ...even in ktm 250 range

@Bon Jovi cb300r and g310r have identical performance figures..only lacks top end as it's a naked bike
@Moonlight-hq3gi2 жыл бұрын
@Bon Jovi it's far better than ktm 250s but honda should have priced it low.. @3-3.10 on road max

@@Moonlight-hq3gi The G310 R has better performance figures, and definitely has better brakes and overall build quality, while packing more power and torque. It's also a bigger looking bike while having a smaller dimension. Both are naked bikes, but Honda's performance is sub par for its price, since it is prices far closer to the 390 Duke or the G310 GS both of which are massively better bikes. The only thing this bike has got going is the gearbox. Honda needs to cut the price of this bike by 40-50k, like BMW to make it viable.
