I have cb 350rs and i also ridden the hunter 350 for quite a many kilometres and I'll day hunter is also a decent bike but what i feel that is cb is a much more premium feeling bike which has lot more finesse to it for which pay more so budget is yours and so the choice... and yeah 35 to 38 kmpl from hunter haha that a mother of exaggeration it doesn't give more 23 to 28 kmpl for what so ever and cb easily gives around 30 kmpl no matter how harshly you ride.

I feel CB 350s should be compared with RE Classic/Meteor only. Hunter doesn't fit in the picture at all.

People with tight budget and who are getting into 350cc segment can go for hunter If budget is not a problem then go for highness or Honda 350RS.. RE cannot beat Honda in safety.. Slipper clutch, very light clutch No problem bike.. Everything is neatly finished.. Bike will not start if it is not on neutral, you need to press and hold clutch to start, Engine stops when side stand is engaged.. RE clutch is very heavy and difficult to drive in traffic..
