Thank you. It's a really reliable bike in all conditions.

That exhaust sound is music in my ears. Great job KY! (I'm glad I'm not the only one who forgets to install potter pins 😂).

@@kentuckyyankee hey. maybe you could tell me: on a cb360t is it possible to hook up the starter solenoid backwards?? i just installed a new one but there no markings on it for which wires go to which side of it. the harness wires i hooked up correctly (there's only one way to do it) but the other wires to the main terminals i'm not sure about. i tried it out and it DOES start, but i don't know if it would start no matter which way i hooked it up? could this cause a problem down the road if it's backwards?
@andrewhammer43753 жыл бұрын
nevermind. seems it can be hooked up either way. just found this on the common motor website: "The connections on the solenoid for both the large wires and the smaller wires can be connected in either way as the replacement solenoid is symmetrical."

I can't believe how knowledgeable you are about motorcycles one thing I learned is to hire someone like you rather then try to fix up a motorcycle myself. I had a 1975 Honda 360 and a 1976 Honda 550 I sold them both for around $1500 dollars in 1977 and 1978.

Thanks! You could fix one up just as good as me!

Yea those bikes have a great tone. That front tire will keep me awake at night.

Sounds good just like a CB350, yeah the tire kills me might wash the dot off and paint a new one in the right spot 😂😂

A lot of hard work I see..great video editing all in progressive order...I'm not a perfectionist so it's enough to see the Engine started & then the Bike moving...the cleaning & polishing can come later...
@kentuckyyankee3 жыл бұрын
Thanks I agree it's nice to know what you have before you start polishing, top speed run Sunday morning stay tuned!

I had one of these, but with the disc brake. Owned it for almost 20 years and rode the bejeesus out of it!!! But it needed a full on restoration so I sold it which made my kids mad ‘cos they wanted to ride it, but wifey said can’t spend that money besides I had another bike, a Buell Cyclone. But still wish I had it!!!!

Nice video of your hard work and I know you know that the rear wheel spindle nut is locked with a "split pin" not a cotter pin. Ah! the pressure of talking to camera while you are mechanic'ing - I couldn't do that at all.

KY....... I know it’s rusteration not restoration..... however, cleaning comes under preservation.... after seals are replaced some degreaser in this area seems reasonable and you did not polish rear brake cover as you offered..... love this bike and as mentioned before mine is a 70 Cb350 close to completion

Can't argue with that....

Did you put oversized tires on or just stock? When you change the sprocket try going one up on the front. You'll lose a little low end but you'll get a substantial increase in gas mileage and more top end plus lower revs. You otta invest in a pressure washer. I would have replaced that chain .
@kentuckyyankee2 жыл бұрын
Those are stock sized tires

The back tire is rubbing against the frame on the right. Will u show me how to adjust the back wheel on 75 honda cb360
@kentuckyyankeeАй бұрын
@lisamariegreene102 I don't have one anymore. My guess is that you possibly have the spacer on the wrong side. Or I think they may have 2 spacers, and you have them on the wrong side. On the big main bolt.

learn the zip tie method of tire removal. it is MUCH easier. I removed the rear tire from my motorcycle without using any tire tools once the bead was broken. Took it off with my bare hands.

You seem to know what you are doing...BUT......it irritated the life out of me that you didn't clean anything at all up before you put it back...and that chain was just a pile of junk ! You spoil yourself doing a video but only doing half the job. Like the brake linings, why not give them a scuff up and clean the drum up ? I reckon lots and lots of people will be thinking the same. Good video otherwise......not too much talking and concise.
