I would put in clip on bars or at least flip the handlebar upside down and definitely get bar end mirrors that can fold in. My current custom 250cc has very low and very tucked in clip on bars, so much so that my handlebar passes below sedan height mirrors; I've been spoiled by it so it'll be something to get used to once I get my own CB650R. The tank itself isn't actually too wide for low clip ons; it's the air intakes that get in the way; but I don't think there's a way to reposition those.
@RUBBERNMETAL2 ай бұрын
Hey man. I know what you mean Harley style to have the mirrors below the bars but I feel that by doing that it would take away your focus too much from what’s happening in front of you. As in your peripherals will deviate too much from facing forward it would be dangerous. But to each their own I guess it’s what you’re used to.

So nice and clear review, bro! Have you brought it to a long riding tour? If yes, could you please give me some experiences? Thank you!
@RUBBERNMETAL3 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro! I haven't had a chance to ride it very far but I've ridden it on a lot of short stints. From what I feel currently is that for long cruising you'll probably need to modify the seat as the original seat is kind of hard (I can last 1 hour max on it without taking a break), some wind protection by having a windscreen for more comfort, and probably reduce the teeth on the rear sprocket if you want more comfort from having lower revs at higher speeds. The seat is the biggest problem if you ask me the other two are just being nitpicking.

Nice review bro. Finally found the Malaysian version. But I’m a bit curious on the fuel consumption. 200km for full tank ? I asked honda big wing. They said can last about 300km for 15l full tank. Also, i would really appreciate if you do a review on the services and maintenance cost. Thank you !
@RUBBERNMETAL3 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro! On paper it is 15l but from full to blinking it’s been around 10-11 litres. I usually don’t leave it blinking for too long. So far you could probably get 20km/l if you ride like a normal human being. I’m a bit heavy on the throttle so my fuel consumption is around 17-18km/l. I plan to do a 10,000km or 15,000km review video later and lay out the cost of ownership and maintenance but I’ve only covered 3,000km so far haha. Will get there eventually.

Thanks buddy! 165cm is not short dont think you’ll have any issue with the bike. I’m 173cm and I can flatfoot both feet with a little bend in my knees when the bike is sitting still. At most you probably have to tiptoe a bit or just flatfoot one side.
