Honda CB750 Cafe Racer Motorcycle Build - Episode 8 - It Moves!

Today we finally got some movement. Very exciting and it's great news for what lies ahead. Now we know we most probably have a good engine to work with and now it's about making this run, not hoping we can make it run.

Good luck and congrats on getting the engine free .. I'm going to take my engine apart pretty soon so this well be really helpful .. same thing, a non-running 1977 CB750F2 that has been setting for 10 years not running .. the engine turns tho so that's a good start .. trying to get it to fire this weekend (hopefully) so I can get some motivation! Thanks! good luck with your engine. I would recommend looking at your spark plugs for colour and running a compression test on all 4 cylinders to see if something is wrong before trying to start it. If you know that the engine was running when the bike was parked you might only need to change the oil and put a new battery in it. I bought this bike from a man who could not get it free so I had to take it apart. Good luck and let me know!!

Thanks .. I already did a compression test and the numbers came pretty low (around 100 :\ ) .. I also have an oil leak around the head gaskets so I will have to take it apart eventually .. I'm just trying to get it running to enjoy whatever it has for the rest of the summer
