in brazil people are hysterical because it's not four cylinders. the vast majority are not even able to buy a used 125, but they are revolting because they can no longer make the bikes scream at the rev limit... 🤦‍♂️

It actually bothered me a lot too..For me a Honda CB750 is legendary! Thinks it SHOULD have 4 cyl but it doesn't ...Many are divided on this question but I think 4 cyl sounds better and to me the sound of a motorbike is a very important detail.

I had a test ride on a white & red one yesterday. As soon as I finished the test ride I went into the dealership & ordered one in that colour. I added the sports pack & the style pack. Both needed to make the bike look smart. For all the people watching KZbin videos on this bike & deciding against it for its looks alone please go ride one. I like it alot. New rider here. I tried it a few days ago and it surprised how good it rode and how hard it pulled. I really really until you get of the bike and it’s just meh and dull looking. Update after trying it again, I just felt in love with the bike. And i bought one.. I hated the look of it, but as soon as you own it, you automatically just love the whole bike. To be fair, apart from the tuono 660, none of these beginner motorcycles look good at all. Z650, mt07, hornet 750.... They all look bland. I guess the suzuki 8s looks a bit better but even so. Not many naked bikes look the part nowadays.

That was fantastic, exactly what I was looking for. Pure sound, the text was a bonus. This bike truly is a wolf in sheep clothing. I really like that about it. It looks harmless, but is an absolute beast. I also like how tiny the overall dimensions are. Even the rear tyre tells you it’s a slow bike. But of course, the truth is it’s fast and nimble. I think this bike will become a cult hero just like its predecessor. That display with all the adjustment from visual to electronics is ridiculous too. You’d almost want it in rain mode during the week to save the tyres. I could imagine with all that power with the narrow tyres they won’t last long. I could imagine it’d be amazing for lane splitting. Narrow, but also doesn’t run hot. The one thing from all the reviews that I haven’t got my head around, if you can help explain it? The suspension I hear is too stiff in town over the bad roads, yet not firm enough for the twisty roads. I’m starting to think it’s just a playful suspension setup?
@Schaaf
@Schaaf 6 ай бұрын
Mostly it's just cheap, unfortunately. Suzuki with their 8S shows how you can achieve a better compromise between comfort and stability in this price range. But since the engine of the Hornet is much more exciting I'd also take the Honda and simply invest a few hundred euros in aftermarket suspension parts. Then it's almost perfect for its relatively low price!

I find it to be very exciting on the spec sheet and the engine and the sound and the value for money, I think for everything it offers I find it to be one of the most appealing bikes available right now, it's just that it doesn't look all that special you know. They were definitely Italy onto something with the headlight, it looks good, but the bike could be more handsome if a little beefier, and with a better looking rear end. But at the price you can't ask for everything I suppose

I don’t expect you to know this, but at 14:43 you passed next to the roadside and seaside caffe bar called “Carlito’s” in the town of Karlobag. Over the years and through some exceptional circumstances, that place has spontaneously become one of the sacred, moto sanctuaries in Croatia. It’s one of the most talked places in the Croatia’s motorcycling community. Many riders from all parts of the country, including myself, sit on their machines and ride to that place, have coffee there enjoying the view and the seaside vibe and then hop on their bikes and ride 50, 100 or few hundred kilometers back to their places, depending on where they live. In my case it’s 200 km from Split. I do it dozens of times a year. 😅

The way they (the police) would actually do it, is they would calculate his speed based on the time it takes to reach two different points in the video. I know the police where I'm from have used this very technique to fine and/or arrest people who posted videos on KZbin of them speeding, with the speedo blurred or out of frame.

I really don't get the critique about the bikes looks. I think it looks amazing. Other bikes looks way too agressive for my taste. I tried the new Hornet yesterday. What a fun bike! I want one now.

Mayb i got it wrong but a nervous front-end while cornering sounds like a geometry issue (not enough trail) and would need an offset for the bars. Ur a great rider and did sometimes run wide in the bends so you got to force it back on track... even if it's built to a price, c'mon Honda, it's 2023. 🤔

What do You think about concept of low-price upgrade from xsr700 to this hornet/transalp? I very much like the 270° crank engines. I would love to have a bit more power as well as a little better suspension. Do You see any sense in it, or it's a waste of money in Your opinion? (despite looks, which is much worse than my xsr)

@@M1KeHD a parallel twin would be better as a starter bike as you’ll be able to enjoy slower speeds as you can stay in lower revs where there’s still power, with the z900 you’ll be high up in the revs before it kicks in which can encourage you to ride too fast
