Gutted mate I've had a few bike it gadgets and to be fair they been ok haven't had issues just the luck of the draw some times but is highly frustrating ! Nice to see you back mange !

Bick Mitchum yes it’s definitely frustrating. But what can you do? Sh1t happens sometimes lol 👍🏍😜

I fit these for a company but for many DIY installs it can be easily fitted wrongly! The bolt is designed to sheer for safety of the user it prevents over tightening of the friction arm to prevent the throttle staying open when you need it closed. The torque are will often need a 10mm spacer to allow the reach from mount area across to throttle. When fitted correctly they last for years.

Its good to see the downs as well as the ups of bike mods. Contact the manufacturer and they will probably send another bolt. Pukka vid mate.

Only managed one ride with the same gadget (bin).you'll get a second to scratch your arse and have to grab the throttle again.

That’s blooming frustrating! It’s a shame, I love the cruise control on my Tiger 800, I never thought I’d say that either!

OldManTony yes I wasn’t too pleased with it. I sent it back and asked for a refund. I told them it wasn’t fit for purpose. I’ll wait until I’ve got the money to buy a decent one. Until then I’ll just have to put up with a numb hand on the motorways 😩
