Once you know how to truly get your elbow down...how easy will it be to go all the way and start nearly getting the shoulder down like Fabio Quartararo?Does that style have any benefit apart from looking cool?
@xtom_993 жыл бұрын
Only possible with the right tires and footpegs. The tires allow or even require that lean angle to get the best possible lap time. I dont know the dimensions of motogp but moto2 uses 200/70 on the 17 inch rims. I don't know if a normal person can even buy tires with 70 dimensions
@sarser_ian3 жыл бұрын
@@xtom_99 ...I'm a beginner so please bear with me,is greater lean angle both rider and bike faster in a corner,or more "body lean" with a more upright bike faster
@xtom_993 жыл бұрын
@@sarser_ian the result of big lean angle of the bike is dragging elbow and if the bike goes deeper with the mentioned tires your body gets deeper too so you can see dragging shoulder like fabio in motogp
@xtom_993 жыл бұрын
@@sarser_ian your question with the "or" is actually both correct. But just body lean doesn't mean fast. Great lean angle of the bike without body lean is fast Great lean angle of bike with great lean of the body to the inside is faster The amount of lean angle is controlled by the tire Street tires with dimensions of 200/55 cant have as much bike lean angle as 200/70 just because of the structure and geometry of the tire And by physics you achieve greater corner speed with greater lean angle of the bike Its a complex physics of its own and not easy to understand and to explain. I'm an engineer and so i have knowledge of the physics behind it :D
@dandymoto80263 жыл бұрын
@@sarser_ian this is a nearly stock bike bro. I ride it in this video. We drive the normal slicks you can buy official from bridgestone :) The leanangle of the body including push the bike in the Max lean is in the right moment as fast you can go. You do not need leananlge all the time. But you need it on the apex to turn the bike.
