Great content, thanks for this! QQ - I have a 2010 Ninja 250r on which I'd like to get the power and torque curve closer to each other so I make fewer downshifts after a speed breaker or during overtakes. Is this achievable through tuning via powertronics?

I have Yamaha yzf R3 equipped with Akrapovic full system exhaust carbon racing line and i recently have installed powertronic on it. I havent got the dyno run yet but got the akra map made for me exclusively after 15 days of ecu installation. Now the bike is doing good but i will go with dyno run soon as Bangalore is about 2000 kms from where i am staying right now. Seeong your bike is making me to buy one (honda cbr 650r) ❤.

Hi Strell Been seeing your videos for quite sometime. Definitely I can tell you are a responsible rider with utmost knowledge about bikes and indian roads. But the disclaimer or safety slide in between, can be improved a bit. (Because am well aware of dramatic speeds or relative acceleration when captured on GoPro kinda cameras at high fps.) And in this video you did a hard acceleration (~135kmph) on the left most lane before even going to the right fast lane and opposite driving had become a menace in our roads recently. Be it in city or highways, there are sometimes commercial carriers or even mini trucks coming on opposite side like the two wheeler guy at 03:45 where you had to slow down quickly in the narrow space because the middle lane had got an oil or gas tanker already. Sometimes such acceleration isn't advisable on left most part of the road where most of our fellow citizen does come on opposite side or people who suddenly slow down 'abruptly' on seeing a hotel or diversion on the left. You have a great riding experience and I don't have to go much in detail. Just stay alert and be safe with 360 eyes on indian roads. The roads have become even more scarier after the lockdowns. Hello strell, Is powertronics reliable? I read in xbhp someone said, after installing powertronics he has problems with the engine and no longer refined. Even if it is, I just want to know is it worth it to install to my cbr250r?

Generally these mods dont make issues when we know what and why are doing this. If the engine has already vibration issues, I guess it is bound to vibrate a bit more because we are providing more fueling to the engine and it will be working harder. But its not an issue for a refined engine. Mine is an I4 and didnt had any issues. Hopefully the 250R wont be having any issues, because its a much refined and reliable machine.

Stock air filter wont give the same mixture as of now. The ECU will definetly struggle.

Not legal if you use after market copy ones. Legal on paper if you use officialy certified ones

Is there any possibility to do such mods on a single-cylinder bike? I'm using Gixer SF 250 and it easily goes to 153 Km/hr than the limiter hits. I feel Suzuki has electronically adjusted the top speed of the bike. Please do reply

Hi, as per my knowledge, there was no 650R quick shifter part avaiable in India. It was an imported one and I got to know that it's the same unit user in CB1000R.
