TBH the stock pipe is already loud enough to need earplugs, I don't really want to make mine louder, but I love that there are people out there enjoying the pure awesomeness of these aftermarket pipes!

Stock pipe on cbr650r? That’s really surprising to hear cause mine and everyone else I’ve ever talked to say how quiet it is. You need earplugs for wind noise.. but I guarantee the stock pipe isn’t anywhere close to those decibels. With ear plugs in you can’t even hear bike until 9k+ rpm. If you had your ear beside exhaust at 12k rpm I mean sure it’ll sound a bit loud but that’s obvious

Looks clean without the passenger pegs, although not a fan of the tubing that remains behind it you take off. Not sure if just couldn’t see it at this angle or if they did something to their bike to rectify that

i still dont know what exhaust i should buy. I want an exhaust who has a good sound with some pops but street legal in Germany with db and cat :(. I guess the best are SC-Project and Mivv but i dont really know

Mivv, hab 2 freunde mit SC Project, 1 mit Akrapovic und mich mit MIVV, beide mit SC Project hätten lieber MIVV oder Akrapovic gekauft. Akrapovic is halt mehr leistung und geblubber. Aber dafür auch teuer. Mivv schreit halt mehr wie ne rennmaschine, is aber günstiger und euro4 und euro5 zugelassen. (und nicht gaaaaanz so laut, aber wir reden da von 2-3 db unterschied) Das holste wieder raus mit nem guten Mapping und nem Sportluftfilter

F**k me that is a beautiful sound. This will be my next motorcycle if Hona NZ ever pull their head out of their butts and import the full power version of this to NZ. Currently you can only buy the LAMS (low power learner version) of the CB650R and CBR650R. It's so sad.

They can be de-restricted quite easily (just pull the plastic restrictors out of the intake runners and remap), but I expect there's some legal reason why you can only get one or the other (restricted or not) rather than both sold in NZ.

@@233kosta Yeah that’s right, it’s illegal to modify a LAMS bike other than slip on or other non-performance mods. I’m not sure why Honda doesn’t bring the full power version in. I’ve heard that the CB650F sales weren’t very good so that could be why they didn’t spend the money to bring the full power version in.

I've got a 22 cbr650r. Has been tuned to over the fullpower. Unless your insurance company is going to get it checked and pull the engine apart. No way they would know about it.

I think the Mivv is better because with DB Killer the Akrapovic is not as loud as the Mivv.
