Oh to add, brake sock is to stop the fluid getting ruined by the sun, UV light ruins the fluid over time (so they say) plus they look cool haha

Hi, I don't know who you are... but this is the first time I've ever watched one of your videos and I'm loving it! Easy to listen to, not irritating or anything. Decent Aussie bloke

Congrats on the new bike Sounder. Yup! they look a treat. I'm looking to update my ole girl too just quietly. Time to step it up to the litery. I've been told they're much smoother than the CBR600rr. Haven't ridden one yet, looking forward to it... Not sure whether to wait it out till next year or not. You make it bloody hard to hold back though mate. Guess I'm going in for a look... Nice work on the blog to champ... HD keeps the view happening, plus good Aussie humour... Keep on keeping on and ya wheels on the ground.

Sweet ride! Love the winding roads. You have a great mic to be able to ride and talk and I can hear you perfectly. Enjoy it!
@SounderAU9 жыл бұрын
It's an awesome road. Mic is good... I just have to remember not to speak too loud. Might have to get a voice recorder or something outside the helmet to get a bit of exhaust note for the mix. Thanks for watching. :)

Gratz on the new bike! I have a 2012 model, pearl white. LOVE it. These are great street bikes. Smooth, with strong midrange power. I did a tinted windscreen, rear fender eliminator kit, and exhaust flapper mod. I also changed the rear sprocket to a +2. It's plenty fast, and handles like a dream. Ride safe!
@SounderAU9 жыл бұрын
TheCyberMantis Thanks mate. I reckon I'll do a sprocket change as well.
@TheCyberMantis9 жыл бұрын
Sounder The sprocket change makes a big difference. These bikes are geared tall from the factory. It's a cheap mod that really works. It makes the bike run like it should. You will see. You could do a -1 in the front, or go +2 to +3 in the rear. I went +2 in the rear, and it seems to be perfect now. It's not a radical change, but you will notice a big improvement.

Nice bike, I got me a 2013 ABS model. The bike is my first super sport and I love it, it is easy to ride and rider friendly. It did take a little time to get used to the riding position but I got used to it. My last bike was a Harley Nightrain I miss it but gotta try as many bikes as I can before I get too old.

Beautiful Bike, l really like that black and white look. Nice area where you are riding too, but since l live in the US it kind of freaks me out seeing you ride on the left side lol. Congratz on your new bike, ride safe.
@brokenlegz9 жыл бұрын
Yep you need a sock. Lol. If you go on a track you need one just incase fluid leaks out some how, it gets soaked up. Good off the track to to save ya paint. Not that they ever leak but the socks do look nice lol. And yeah above about 7k rpm they come alive and everything goes blurry lol
@SounderAU9 жыл бұрын
***** Well, there ya go. Thanks mate. Experienced a little bit of that 'Need for Speed' blur earlier today. Should have heard me.... cackling like a maniac in my helmet.
@brokenlegz9 жыл бұрын
Haha when ya not used to it or even when you are and haven't pinned it for awhile it really boggles ya mind how quick they gain speed. Loved it but I had to sell it I was gona die lol.

I'm going on 2 years on my CBR500R and I want to up grade. I can't decide between the 600rr or the 1000rr. I think I'll go with 1000rr. Go big or go home!!!

Did you buy it without a test ride? What are your thoughts on the wind protection? Any plans for a larger windscreen? Am i seeing some objects auto tracking your speedo? What editing program auto tracks?
@SounderAU9 жыл бұрын
DodgeSkitz87 No test ride. Wind protection is pretty good, but I do get a bit of buffeting at 100km/h sometimes and I can feel the wind around neck height when I put a hand up behind the screen. Might go for a taller smoked screen. I use Final Cut Pro X. The tracking was done using a plugin by Coremelt called TrackX. Thought it might be easier than cutting out a clip, importing to Motion for the tracking, then trying to send it back to FCP X and syncing it up again.

i want a blade too!!!! but bro, to reduce the pressure in the wrists while riding, try bending your arms a lil.. dont ride with straight arms, it helps.

Hi mate. I ended up trading it in on a BMW R1200GSA. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the CBR but I had always wanted a GSA and one came up at a good price. I really miss the CBR though. Fantastic bike that got better and better the more I rode it. Awesome power and sound and one of the best looking sports bikes around, I reckon. Once I win the lottery I'll be buying another one.

Nice, Thank you for the quick reply. I just bought a CBR1000RR last night and I am in love. This thing is great just like you said.

I've been wanting to upgrade to this bike for years but I hate ugly reflector headlights. projectors are better. I have a 2009 gsxr 600 pearl white like this. I'll wait till honda changes them just like suzuki just updated their gsxr1000
