Honda CBR1000rr Wrecked Bike Rebuild (Complete Rebuild)

Hey Y'all! I purchased this 06 Honda CBR1000rr that was beyond TOTALED but the person I purchased it from has had it since 2016 when her husband passed away on it. I found her for-sale add on Craigslist and when she saw I had a KZbin channel where I rebuild them she asked me to rebuild it in his Loving memory. I basically had to buy an entire bike to replace all the damaged parts but at the end the bike looked like nothing ever even happened!

Excellent job on the rebuild I have a 04 cbr1000rr. Before I even looked at the description I was like that has to be a 06 or 07. Fairings changed up for those years. I just bought a new ktm890r I have started the rebuild of my 18yr old cbr1000rr. Still love the raw power of the older bikes. No abs traction control and all those other doodads that these newer bikes have. BTW never had an issue with the electronic steering dampener still works like it was when I bought her back in 04. I've heard complaints about it. But was never an issue for me at high speeds.

@@frankiesemailfd there's a couple of places to buy from auctmarts is the 1 I order mine from. All aftermarket fairings come from China. For the most part they are good quality not oem but they do the job.

Not to like challenge your point, I'm actually curious since I've seen fairings on aliexpress and they seemed... Pretty decent actually and with good pricing for the eu market. Well not that I'm currently looking for fairings or anything, I'm thinking about getting a naked sv650 2nd gen so yeah, but afterwards I'd love to get an 07 to 16 r6 and maybe I'd get fairings for it if I don't find one with it's factory fairings.
