Honda CBR1000rrr Fireblade 2020 - First look review from Knox 😱
Eicma 2019 saw some incredible new motorcycle launches, and one of them was the all new 2020 Honda CBR1000rr-r Fireblade and Honda CBR1000rrr Fireblade SP! Although we didn’t get chance to film the CBR1000rrr at EICMA 2019, we did manage at Motorcycle Live 2019 last week and what a bike it is!
The Honda Fireblade is the iconic supersports bike and took the motorcycle world by storm back in the 1990’s, however, since the launch of the BMW S1000rr in 2009, Honda’s CBR Fireblade has fallen a little into obscurity, progressively lacking in enough power and spec to take on the competition. All this changes now with the all new CBR1000rr-r Fireblade 2020, with an incredible specification sheet… We’re talking about 216hp, 200kgish wet weight, semi active Ohlins suspension and Brembo Stylema callipers (on the SP model) and a full and MotoGP derived suite of electronics. The standard CBR1000rr-r will be fitted with Showa BP forks and Nissin brakes.
The styling on the Honda 2020 Fireblade is also something to celebrate with beautiful lines, fantastic integration of MotoGP winglets and a really nice exhaust system fitted as standard. In particular the CBR 1000rrr is stunning in the flesh in the black colourway, it really has to be seen to be appreciated.
Hope you enjoyed our video of Honda’s game changing CBR1000rrr for 2020, please like comment and subscribe.
Thanks,
Aaron and Mark
