Yamaha Fazer 25 / Fz25 has built on a particular concept i.e > City Drive + Beat d Traffic > Milage ( i get 39.5 kmpl For a 250cc ) smooth cruise 50 kmph in my opinion no other 250cc bike can offer > Fantastic delivered Torque compared to Ns / Rs / Duke 200, 250 unable to beat 0-100 . > Normal Maintenance > Beefy Look. > Power Built quality > Comfortable > Stable at low + High speed And lot more. Given 6th gear , additional power by 5bhp and torque raised by 4Nm It would hav put 400cc to shame. Der are couple of minor Disagreement but Im Fine With may b not everbody. Certainly not a failure. It was meant to be a bike with power concentrated at the low end. On the other hand the R series in Yamaha (R25, R3) have power at the top end.

What is bad about the Fazer 25. Speed is not everything. It has the low end which the CBR 250 lacks. Most sane people will not even bother riding at 140/150 on indian roads. It is risky and plain stupid. FZ/Fazer 250 is all what one needs. CBR 250 is a want !!

There is no comparison. Honda and Yamaha both offer high quality of engineering but comparing these two bikes is like comparing chalk with cheese. Fazer isn't a drag bike, Yamaha has R series for that. Fazer is tuned for high torque at low RPM making it a comfortable tourer with good commuting experience. CBR on the other hand is built to smoke the opponents on a race track. Thus, clearly Fazer rightfully displays good acceleration at low speed but CBR having higher power overtakes it at higher speed. Each bike is calibrated with some pros and cons for different cases. You need to choose as per your requirements.
