What hardware do you use to connect the laptop to the ecu and can you reflash the stock ecu?

through the OBD port, or physically opening up the ECU and reading the data directly from the memory chip.

I'm from South Africa with the same car but a 2010 fd1 R18, no tuners will touch it... There is a guy in CPT, but I'm in JHB, so will be developing a tune with a few mates soon...

Question is the ECU numbers setting found in automatic same as Fd manual? Or they have different configuration? Since manual is more responsive than matic on FD models

if u have future plans for intake and exhaust, better get them first before a tune reflash, otherwise that will be another expense becuase your tune will be for the current setup.
