Honda civic alternator (92 to 00)

This works! I got my old alternator removed! I read the other posts, guys taking off their axles, removing power steering, brakes, brackets, braces.... all a load of nonsense. Actually all the real manual says is "remove through bottom of car" and it may be necessary to remove bracket (it is). Thanks. This is the best video on the internet (better than porn even). Mine came out with the plug-in side out first.

Had my 96 alt rebuilt, and the dude just took the brake master cylinder off and pulled it up through. Eliminating the problem of taking it out from the bottom. Bypassing the motor mount problems and lifting the motor. So…… if anyone is interested, try it out. Might save you a bunch of headaches.

It takes some playing around but you can 100% definitely do it. I hope this helped

You can get it from the top, just have to find the right orientation

What a clown! Why would you waste the world's time with this absurd video? Yeah, the alternator has three bolts that hold it in, there's one nut on the top and 1 wiring harness that clicks into it. Getting to the bolts, though, is a challenge, but nothing compared to getting the belt on and off, especially if there's power steering and an air conditioner. This video is worthless. Completely effing worthless!
