Can you feel a difference with the collars? Or is it more a way of keeping the geometry in spec for longer type thing?

I haven't even driven it since fitting them.. waiting on a new thermostat. It's more to stop the clicking noise wile braking..

Do you not need to clean the joint and grease it up before bolting it all back together?

No just fit them dry. But there is no harm greasing them if you wanted to. Thanks for watching..

I have heard of people fitting these and still having the click after because they done drop the subframe and clean the bolt faces.. I’m fitting these ina few weeks

Just any wheel bearing grease no need to clean inside the grease just helps with fitting.
