I just installed these yesterday on my 2018 Si Sedan and i am having a lot of issues. The running light is not as bright as the top small one, the brake lights dont work, the reverse light doesn’t work. Would you have any idea why this is happening i double checked that everything was plugged in right.

Christopher Shaver recheck your plugs. That was one of my mistakes. I had accidentally plugged one of them wrong.

Just installed the SpecDTunning version of these tail lights (not as blacked out and the brake light blinks initially). I had trouble with the reverse lights at first, but just had to flip the led chip the other way. They look great. Went with SpecD over HiRev bc it was like $60 cheaper and I didn’t want any legal issues with how blacked out the HiRev ones are. SpecD ones have just enough smoke look for me.

I got the spec d ones as well but i dont know why the animation isnt working . Every function works except that. Any idea why that might be?

@@chrisvega6792 I assume that’s what the extra long wire was for (or at least to get it sequenced properly for the top and bottom parts) so it may have something to do with that connection? Although my animation seemed to work before I even connected that wire to the top part. I will note though that the animation only comes on when you turn your low/high beam lights on. But if you keep your car on auto for turning your lights on then the animation will also come on when you initially unlock your car.

@@kickmemes20 i literally just figured it out. Yes, they only come on when i turn on low/high beam. But never when i unlock the car. Only both turn signals do the sequence thing.

@@chrisvega6792 I guess for me it always does the animation when I unlock/start my car bc I park in a garage with low lighting, so with my headlights on auto they always start on when I first unlock/start my car (thus the animation does as well) before I drive out of the garage and they turn off. Now that I think about it though, it may only be when I start my car (only way to see this yourself is if you remote start it, or have someone else start it). Maybe unlocking alone doesn’t trigger the animation. I’ll look to see if the animation comes on when I unlock vs when I start my car in broad daylight and let you know.

Hey. I was thinking of getting these however only if the brake lights blink. I contacted the seller and he told me that the brake lights do blink when pressing brake. But I don’t see it in this video. Can you shed some light on this?

Taillights do NOT blink. I believe those are the old version they use to sell. Unfortunately they don’t sell those anymore. I asked them because originally I wanted those. But since they don’t sell them anymore I purchased these.

Most of those aftermarket tail lights are the shits, especially if made by some fly-by-night company in China. Basically, they do not last very long due to low grade electronics used in the lights.
