I think the biggest difference is one is NA and the other is boosted that really comes down to personal preference as well that’s a huge part of these cars personality and performance, wish there was more light shed on that but cool vid

Great video. Nothing like enjoying some fun curvy GA roads. Slowly learning how to fall in love with cars again after riding motorcycles for so long. The cold weather is giving me the itch to enjoy fun roads on 4 wheels and climate control lol

If you own only one car, get a Civic. If you want secondary weekend fun car, get Miata.

Uh you can push 10th gen Si's to 250whp with literally just a tune and nothing else. With bolt-ons 260 is a breeze.

Sure there's FWD cars like the Civic Type R and GTI Club Sport that can be insanely quick on the track.. but FWD can never be as fun as RWD. FWD burnouts are not cool.. cant drift.. cant throttle steer.. torque steer and majority of them understeers..
@trackshun2 жыл бұрын
Actually, FWD burnout are cool since it’s quite easier to do one in a RWD, and when one does a FWD burnout, they get all the attention, TRUST ME. Also, drifitng has nothing to do with a car. Fun isn’t drifitng. I can assure you that the majority of the car community that owns a RWD car cannot drift, generally used for either tight corner driving or literally just owning a rwd car because it looks cool. As for the steering, that has absolutely nothing to do with the fun of a well engineered car AT ALL. You listed things that sound good on paper, but what makes a FWD fun and special, is how it brakes going into a corner, how fluent handles the corner (with a good driver of course), and the torque, traction, and readiness of the entire car when exiting a corner. Understeer can not only be minimized by upgrades/tweaks to the suspension, but by the driver themselves. You see everything you stated is selective/relative- preference. But if you haven’t absoultely destroyed turns (manual gearbox) in a FWD, youre missing out bud

FWD burnouts is what inexperience kids do.. if a minivan can do it.. its definitely not cool. I don't know about you.. but doing something that requires more skill and getting it right is more fun for me than something any person with legs and arms can do. "Fun isn't drifting.." drifting is absolutely the definition of car control and fun. "RWD owners don't know how to drift.." Sure.. but you don't need to know how to drift like a pro to have fun.. Your explanation of what makes FWD fun and special doesn't make FWD cars more fun than RWD cars. I'll take on a track day a slow ass Miata over any fast FWD car.. why cause RWD cars are just that much more fun to mess around in.. which is the whole point of the question.

@@patc8653 lmao my bad bro I didn’t thpe what I fully wanted to. I was gonna list a list of rwd things that can be considered fun, yet i would then tell you that its relative. Sorry bro i dont want u to think im a retard for thinking drifting isnt fun i promise i’d be the last person to think that😂
@jaydenwhatswong2 жыл бұрын
You can throttle steer an FWD by lifting off then getting back on the gas
@Joshua-wv9ov2 жыл бұрын
@@patc8653 Gonna have to disagree with you on this one, like TrachShun said, FWD against RWD is more of a personal preference type of thing. Also the minivan example sounded kind of stupid, since RWD minivans also exist but whatever.
