true the torque it gives over a b16a makes the 4door feel like a hatch!

@@SRDmotorsports the torque comparison is might and day between those 2 motors, the b20v as soon as you touch the gas pedal it wants to move out on you

More detail on how to use a rod stretch gauge would be great, cant wrap my head around it

@@TheBongoman47 for sure next will do that But we already have one of our early videos on rod bolt stretching and why it is suggested it’s a video we did early last year or almost 2yrs ago

12:1 on stock gsr ?? What's the octane on fuel used ? Compression definitely helps produce power but inconjunction with oem cams That's crazy cylinder pressure for stock cam lift and duration, currently in process of doing b20 as my gsr spun rod bearing and had everything to rebuild bottom end cause I knew it was time but waited to long and gsr bearings supposedly won't work in b20 crank journals, but aside from jdm itr pistons being used gonna try using ported head and stock cams rather than cams and factory head unless I there's a way to include cams and springs as budget limited and it's going in my 4door gsr integra so it's never gonna be that fast but least put a smile on the face 😉

I would not run it without b18c style block girdle on the bottom and I would avoid those weak B20 rods (and cast pistons). Baffled oil pan is mandatory IMO, not sure if U use that. Otherwise keep posting, good vids. Cheers.

Have you reached 200hp on a non vtec b20b?
@SRDmotorsports6 ай бұрын
@@michaelscott6669 we havnt had a chance to do a non vtec project but by the numbers… 200 would be easy , 220 would be challenging but doable at the sacrifice of idle quality cuz nonvtec

@@SRDmotorsports what would be the formula for the 200hp b20 nonvtec? Im currently planning to build my b20 just laying around for months now
@SRDmotorsports6 ай бұрын
prolly the same usual… YCP pistons or better from franks, the 1Up piston cuz it has more comp, crower 63-403 cam if good idle is desired but id prefer 63-404 from crower and the slightly rough idle is livable for me… a skunk2 pro intake for a b18a/b or slightly mod the flange off a ultra street manifold is better and the rest like a b20vtec
