+Michael Thompson Think he meant the loading space. Bigger than the Passat but the car should be compared to the Golf in all other aspects I think.

+Joel BIelecki You will be getting the Mk10 Civic Type R in the US. However the Mk9 Civic Type R FK2 which we have in Europe will not be sold in the US.

This car has a really big problem. A 6 foot tall person cannot fit in it. Not in the front, not in the rear. There just isn't enough headroom in it.

It's why (some) people recline their seats and lay in the car. I like sitting while driving though.

A little late to the party. But I am 6 feet and have owned both the Gen. 8 and 9 civic neither of which had any problems at all accomodating me either in front or in the rear. You are either built rather odly or haven't figured out that the seats (in front) are height adjustable....

@@Verndroid This objection applies only to Civic Tourer because it has fuel tank under the front seat. The regular hatchback does not suffer from this issue.
