I’ve had my 86 in my shed since 1999 when I was shredded on my other bike by a drunk. Was put in the shed by my Family when they thought I would not pull through. Took it out a couple months ago planning to freshen her up but just don’t have what I used to have in motivation I suppose. I hope that one day....most fun bike I had and I had a few. Thank You Honda for the memories.

3000回転以下で走ってるよ。これで回るエンジンなんだから当時から化け物だよなあ。 今の市場規模では自社のCBRと競合しちゃうから、V型4気筒なんて大きな手間暇かけて販売することは無いんだろうな。 でもホンダの技術の結晶だからV4スーパースポーツは存続して欲しかった。

30年以上前に乗っていたので非常に懐かしい。 当時乗っていたのはおそらく北米仕様で マイル表示(補助でKm表示あり) シングルヘッドライト デュアルラジエター(ライト裏にあり) でした。 このバイクは輸出先によって様々な仕様があったようで 動画のようにデュアルヘッドライトだったりメーターがkm表示で速度警告灯があったり デュアルラジエターの代わりにオイルクーラーがあったり さなざななバリエーションがありました 私が中古で購入した当時はすでにCBR1000R・GSXR1100・ZX10・FZR1000など 名だたるスーパーバイクが幅をきかせておりVF1000Rは型落ち感の否めない不人気バイクになっており かなり安価で購入出来ましたが走りは決して引けをとるものではありませんでした。

Hello ,I just bought a 1985 vf1000r with 5345miles on Her ! not running, but it will run ! Has 95 % of the parts all the body parts too. still looks great .missing a few hose parts , ands needs , tires . paid $ 1,300. for the Bike , so happy !!! Seattle .. 3-10-2022 Thanks

you meant valve clearance i bet, not that you even know where or how to check that. what you do or do not own is irrelevant.

@@keaponlaffin6737 If clearance of the valve was an issue then the piston would be hitting the valve and the engine would shut down. The valves have "stem seals" which keep the oil on TOP of the head to prevent oil from seeping to the exhaust creating smoke. Did someone make you mad to come on the internet and get grumpy because you couldn't get grumpy with them? Get off here and go deal with it.

確かホンダのお家芸であるカムギアトレインを最初に投入した市販車がこれだった筈。 当時は何故か日本では直４に較べてV型エンジンは人気が低くて、CB1100Rの後継モデル的ポジションだったにも拘わらず、余り話題にならなかったのは不思議と言うか、不運と言うか・・。

なんで吹かしてるときに水温計が下がるか気になる

電圧が上がっているからでは？ 水温センサは負特性サーミスタなので温度が下がる＝抵抗が上がる＝電流が上がる。 電圧が上がると（同じ抵抗なら）電流も上がる＝水温計が上がる。

I don't think so. Look at the ice and snow. It's a normal phenomenon in cold air. The engine is getting warmer, also the exhaust gases. It is definitly no smoke just fog. Watching from germany

これは水分です。 水蒸気か冷えて水滴になってます。 恐らく気温はかなり低いです。

ラッキーストライク RC213VもV型エンジンだけにエンジンサウンドは少し似ていますがカテゴリーの観点からだとRC213VがmotoGPですからEWCに出場しているCBR1000RRという奇妙な図式に なるかと思います。このRS850R不沈艦と呼ばれたRCB1000を彷彿させるカラーリングがさらに奇妙を増してますね。
