AKA "Why Gyro really shouldn't let people have control over the music while driving them home" episode 342: "What the hell is Huey's deal?"
After a long day of something stupid and crazy happening, Gyro ends up having to drive Huey home. He reluctantly lets the kid put on some music or whatever because he really couldn't care less, but it ends up getting weirder and weirder.
This is a video I've been wanting to make for ages! I tried making one of this scene a few years back but I couldn't finish it back then. But now I have! I can't draw the inside of cars for the damn life of me but I did it!
(Sorry if it looks a little wonky in the beginning- I was still figuring out my quicker way of drawing frames, haha-)
One thing I love about Ducktales 2017 is how many of the voice cast come from Community, giving the fandom SO much potential material for stuff like this. I remembered this scene between Huey and Gyro's voice actors and thought it fit them perfectly. Seriously- I'm genuinely stumped as to why the fresh hell nobody has done anything with this scene yet! (To my knowledge, at least.) If you want something you gotta do it yourself, I guess.
Anyways, enjoy yet another product of my mourning over this beautiful show!

Imagine if Fenton was in the backseat to ask Gyro for a ride home to carpool back to his apartment or something which was near Huey's school and he's like 'we'll just pick up Huey and on the way back you can drop me off at my place' but then Huey had to ruin the moment by making it weird. i can imagine Fenton bursting out laughing at Gyro being total dad and Fenton LIVING for it

Abed (Danny Pudi) drove the car in the original version, but in the DuckTales version, I don't think you'd let Huey Duck drive the car, since he's a KID, so I think that's why Gyro was driving the car.
