This will not work on Honda Connect units with the software version above RC6. It will grey out the 'install' button. Here are the codes so you can see your software version. Ich habe eine Frage. Ich besitze auch ein CRV dessen Navigation system nicht installiert ist. Das Auto hat jedoch das gleiche gerät wie im video. Ich habe alle Schritte die im Video beschrieben werden nachgemacht und es klappt nicht. Ich komme nur bis zu dem Punkt wo man auf 'installieren' drücken muss aber es lässt sich nicht drücken. Ich weiß zwar nicht ob es etwas mit dem Baujahr zu tun hat aber der Baujahr meines Autos ist 2016.

Hi Tomix. I do all what you say but don't work. I reset factory system, uninstall Aha and Garmin default app. Only Honda App Center it's impossible to uninstall. I have honda Civic 2015 Android 4.0.4. Do you have any suggestions? Grazie!

It didn't worked for my Honda CR-V 2015 which was manufactured in UK and purchased in a German-speaking country. Although I followed all steps the install button was not visible for me as well. It seem that the Honda App is blocking the installation of custom apps. When I reset it to the factory setting the Honda App was pre-installed and I could neither uninstall it nor kill the process. Pitty :(

Doesn't work on Honda CR-V, I did exactly as on the video and renamed the file according to the instructios, but the system still doesn't see the file on the USB key no matter what I do. I downloaded Yandex Navigator and renamed the file as "HondaAppCenter_A1.apk" no result, file not recognized, I tried renaming it as "HondaAppCenter_A1" without APK at the end, still no result. The damn thing doesn't work !!! Probbly it's because the app permissions, but what the hell is that ? Anther app to install ? It's not explained in the video and the whole process is in German !

to reset: settings > backup & reset > factory reset. To allow app installations: settings > security > enable unknown sources. Yes u will...!!

Hi, google maps is only a online navigation!! U need always an Internet connection! To use google maps u need a Internet connection (wifi). by a hot spot (wlan tethering). You can set a hot spot on your smartphone and connect the Honda System with the Smartphone about wlan. I recommend u Sygic if u need offline Navigation is much better.

Hi, the problem is, that the installed apps are not connected with Google Playstore/not installed by Playstore!! Installation/Start of Google Playstore is not possible...crash after start!! ---> Not possible to sync with account. U can try a Firefox Account i think that is possible.
