Good video, as with your other videos, well presented. I filled my gearbox slowly through the level plug. I have a Sealey pressurised unit and with a small adaption, it worked well without any pressurisation problems. It saved taking the battery and air filter box out. I also used it for my diff oil change.

Maestro, fantastically useful video. Made my day. I have a question: This is the 2nd time I have tried to remove the air filter box without success. I have used my telephone to view the securing machine screws at the back of the airbox and see they are totally corroded. Therefore I'm unable to get a socket on them to unscrew. I used all my force to pull the airbox out to no avail. What do you suggest?

Hi, Soak the corroded bolts overnight with penetrating oil . Use an extending socket bar with your socket on the end and before attaching ratchet , bang socket hard on by hitting with hammer on top of bar for a snug fit. Leverage is key - use a bar if needed to extend socket handle or in a pinch a ring spanner over the handle for that extra leverage. Show it who’s boss :-)

Great stuff, glad it has helped. Cleaning the Maf gets good results and well worth doing, just don't touch any of the internals of it and give it careful handling :-)

Good video but you don't need to remove the air box to get to the refill nut just remove battery and Cage and use a long extension bar to get to it

I was lazy to dismantle all that stuff at my Honda diesel. Just unscrewed the Speed sensor above drain and measure plug and poured the fuild in there.

hemtet - the gearbox oil is a specific Honda one ( all experts say to only use it). Diff oil generally refers to rear differential - that again is a specific oil that you must use Honda genuine fluid for.

Antanis, if you have a manual shift gearbox, you need to buy 3 litres of Honda MTF oil .

Hi Jonah, sorry I don’t know if a vid for steering fluid drain - I have never done it myself. The diff flush is essential after certain mileage/age if you want to keep it running well :-)

Tree House - if it's the 2.2 cdi then I would expect so. If you look for the fill , drain and inspection bolts I have shown and they match - you are good to go :-)
