You're welcome mate. I forgot to say lower the car before you put in the new oil so it's level. It takes about 2.5 litres. Good luck.

@@MrPhillipgraham just the info i was looking for thanks , im pulling my box out to do the clutch and getting all the neccessary ordered. my intercooler popped and prompted me to remove front bumper and i found i need to tidy up rad support bar so radiators out to do this and for the price of it ive ordered a set of nissens coolant radiator and aircon condenser as they have 13 years of corrosion flaking to the touch , full filter and oil service , new coolant , . where do i stop . Last year refurbed brakes , suspension , subframes fuel filler neck , arches and chassis front and rear rubbed down and rustoleum , so this year finish that off this time round removing steps and plastics doing inner cills and step bracketry. Wish i had a ramp but a couple weeks and it will be complete.

If you have a small screw on piece you can fill through the overflow point instead.

I would like to ask you if you think it is possible to avoid dismantling the battery and the filter box by inserting the oil directly from the small upper hole of the gearbox, using a large syringe, a flexible hose and perhaps a lot of expletives...

Hi there, you can find service manuals online I think.

@@MrPhillipgraham The only service/repair manual for the 3rd generation (2007-2011) CR-V that I can find is for US market models. As far as I know, manual 2007-2011 CR-Vs were never sold in the US, and the manual only covers the automatic versions. I have also looked for an actual physical service/repair manual and can't find any.

Have you changed the rear gear oil DPSF? How many liters are needed for replacement?

Do you mean the differential oil? I forget now but I think it was 0.5 litre though please check the manual. You will find one online if you search.
