Yeah, 100% it'll smell like a 4 stroke as well. Had a couple 2 strokes have a crank seal failure.

Love the Honda !! But not as much as the green beast . You can tell the crank seals are in good shape on this old girl . Love it man !

that crank seals problem is fixed, replaced with 94

Zacki Lassen engine braking won't harm a two stroke unless it is over a long period, say engine braking down a long hill. What he is doing here is fine and will not harm anything

Engine breaking a two stroke is not bad for your engine to an extent. How he was riding it wont cause any cylinder scoring or burn up rings at all and of course no wear on crank shaft or bearings on bottom end.

The way hes engine braking is fine, he also blips the throttle while engine braking, so its ok.
