Oh my God, you have no idea how much you just help me. I sat in the Walmart parking lot from 8:30 PM last night until 2 AM this morning. I’ve got a tow truck I’ve been told I change key fobs but when I saw your video I realized it was the bling Ring that I put around my ignition. I took it off crank right up thank you so much!!!!!!

My moms 2011 pilot was shutting off too and had that green light flashing. The problem was a small decorative ring that she stuck around the key hole area, it came with a steering wheel cover she picked up at Walmart . I unstuck it and the pilot started right up and the light was gone. Easy fix this time.

Didn't work for my 2003 CRV...changed out the ACG and even the ignition coil fuse and still no start, still has a flashing key. Any suggestions before I get ripped off at the dealership big time?

Same problem with my Honda Civic 2013.. tried to change the fuse, still blinking green key light. Even got a new key bc mine was being held up with some tape so I thought the chip had gone bad. May be immobilizer. 😢

Hi, thanks for the video ^. my problem is i tried to program a new key with a scanner tool after i had a locksmith duplicate the original, without success. the key fob was bought with an OEM designation. the chip id is the same as the original. the remote buttons are working fine. after programming/registering the key with the scanner the green key light won’t stop flashing. The key will crank the engine but won’t start. The locksmith who programmed the key said there is something wrong with my car immobilizer. Do u know why the new key can’t be programmed? Thought i asked u before bringing it to the dealer. this is the 2010 honda crosstour EXL model

Hi I have 05 Accord the green light flashes few times after taking the key out of ignition. Also I had one time not starting and using 2nd car keyfob it started. Could it be the battery of the keyfob?

No, this will not have anything to do with the battery that’s inside your key fob.

On a Honda Accord I don’t see an ACG S on the fuse box.. I’m having the same issue with the flashing green light. Changed the battery now it just acts as if it wants to turn over!!

@@AverageJoesAwesomeSlots It was the little chip in the fob that wasn't close enough to keyhole to authorize that it was a legit key trying to start the car. So I took apart my fob and realized I didnt swap it from the old casing. Its SUPER small and easy as hell to miss.

Hi, ive got a BB6 prelude that just dies when driving. Sometimes if you push the gas pedal it will start up but most times not and have to pull over and turn key etc. When it stalls, no dash lights, flashing green key symbol and radio works. Have you come across this brfore?? Cheers

Sure, tell me exactly what it does when you turn the key. Does it try to turn over at all? Could it be something wrong with the key? Is it a new key? What year & model is the vehicle?

Kool video.. my 2001 accord doing this but it my negative cable honda knew problem. Proor me who spend hours taking thing apart testing the system. Had to replace my 15 year old battery that lift me with walmart battery and it cca600 dont do cold start justice. Ground wire was bear at the transmission side and didnt allow proper ground and my car started up weak. Since I replaced the ground wire the key light only flash twice and off my car start normal and everything works fine now. Simple check help.. thanks.

Dang not i sure i got the same issue. I got a European model. I noticed when i entered the car the interior light and locking mechanism didnt switch. Then notcied the car would not start and i also get this blinking green key. My manual doesnt state this ACG fuse though. I cant figure out the correct fuse in my model and dont own a multi-meter. :(

Hey I have a question. So my 2004 Honda civic has the flashing green key, and it was being a little stubborn getting my door open, but I thought I was just tired. But my entire dashboard.was messed up. My gas tank went from F to E, all my check engine and oil lights are up. Even the mileage on my car reset.
