Excellent video. I just suggested it to my son who is having a similar issue with his 2005 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6Spd. His is only his weekend toy so he’s killing batteries. I’ve told him we should install a quick disconnect like I have on my weekend cars but we haven’t done it yet.

Nice solution if that is indeed the same issue someone else has. Unfortunately my fuse is not blown. A couple of things here: Firstly, you do a continuity test on the fuse still plugged into the circuit. That's not a valid test because if there is a short in the circuit that the fuse serves, it could test as conducting even with a blown fuse. Take it out of the circuit to test it to remove all doubt. If it's blown, try to figure out why before potentially wasting another good fuse by just plugging one in and crossing your fingers.

Good video! I have a issue with intermittent not starting. Not all the time, but once in awhile the VSA warning light comes on, when it doesn't start. Any thoughts?

Yes! Check the fuses!

@@checkitout2468 he call a locksmith and make a new key but he still got the same issue. I will check fuses . is the old key should still work ?

@@tomcat375 there’s a 95% chance it’s the fuse. Replacing the fuse and using the old key should work. With that said, if the locksmith has reprogram the vehicle to go with the new key, the old key will not work.

@@tomcat375 it could be under a different name. Take 20 minutes. Pull out each fuse one by one and see if any of them are blown.

HELP please. at minute 3:14 the brown rust color block with fuse inserted and then wires running into the fuse. what is this part called? I need to order a replacement fuse/block/wires ?? Not sure. I am going to see if my green key light is staying on. Thank you for this video. I have a 2007 Honda Pilot (my brown rust color block has the numbers IVA25C. I greatly appreciate any feedback.

@@checkitout2468 I was wondering if I gently lift up the block, the wires running thru fuse then inserted into the block, that there maybe a part # identifier on the underside? Am I taking to much of a gamble. I am beyond amazed that the diagrams & charts completely leave this part blank. Thank you.

@@Srjgal Sorry, I don’t live near Texas. How far is it to the nearest Honda dealership? Going to the parts department with the pictures, see if they can help you identify it. If that’s not feasible, call the parts department of the nearest dealership and ask them if you can send a couple pictures to help you identify it.

2013 Honda Civic. Replaced brand new battery, and it had trouble starting, a bit of a sputter, then it started and ran like a champ 45 min home. Then I parked tried to start again and same results but it start up. Wth might be the problem?

Someone pls help, I changed the battery on my 2000 accord, it starts up but won't start after its started up 2 times. Had to put in the old battery boosted with the new one. apparently the car only likes the old battery, a battery shop stated that the starter is bad but I don't think so, can someone give me an expert opinion
