That’s awesome!!! Thank you! Have you done anything with the front yet? I have a second video that will be coming out I would venture to say tomorrow night or Saturday afternoon on part2

@@ThatGuy-771I also upgraded my rear to the tuscany shock, it lifted it 2 inches. I also installed the corona link like you did, making it another inch taller. Feels like a proper enduro bike. I haven't had time to install the front suspension tuscany make, however it is a project that I intend to do this weekend. The bike definetly needs it, it's like the rear is solid and plated and the front is a pogo stick bouncing over every little bump and rock.

@@viclopresti6826 that’s awesome! Exactly what I was going for with it after hitting a few logs with the stock. Part 2 may help a lot with figuring out the rest minus just the rear as a hint. But I’m looking forward to how it’s going to do! Let me know how you like yours with your front done!

@@ThatGuy-771 I bought their “front fork good pressure kit” but haven’t installed yet. Also bought the Anker front fork extenders through hyperlite moto to bring up the front and keep proportional to the rear.

Hey nice video I just ordered the set of front springs but I was wondering about this rear spring, can I just buy and install the spring or do I need the new linkage and other parts you bought with the spring? And is there anything I would need/should regrease after taking apart? Thanks

Thank you! I appreciate you checking the videos out. So you CAN just install the spring. You don’t need the cleat or the linkage I have. That was just to raise the bike up. Similar to the front fork springs. You don’t NEED the fork extenders I just did it to gain the extra height. Only think you will need for the rear though is spring compressors. You’ll only need grease if you were wanting it for your linkage bearing IF you want to go ahead and grease it while your at it and disassembling the rear. Otherwise no. You don’t have to disconnect it at that pivot point regardless. That’s just optional.

Where did you set the preload with the new spring? I assume you can't set the sag to stock specs with the new linkage raising it up? I have front and rear BBR springs I need to put on mine.

Hey Tommy, Correct. Nothing for sag on it. But I am running preload easiest way to tell you is 3/4” from the top of the collars to the top of the threads. Only set it down that much due to the fact I wanted a “little bit” of softness due to only being 160lbs. Didn’t want it to be to stiff and be bucked like a bronco. I know mine from the factory was about half way down the entire shock. It was compressed a good bit but bottomed out like no other of course. You’ll love the springs. HUGE difference with just being springs. I’m pending my full review on them now. Hope that helps though!

@@ThatGuy-771 thanks for the info. Yeah, I weigh 210 and don’t want to make it too stiff since there are no adjustments for compression and rebound on the shock. I know what you mean about being bounced off! I have a 250 Rally and the shock was so weak that it would fully compress and then shoot right back to full extension…not fun.

Haha yea I have some toying around to do on the settings I’m sure. But we will see so far it’s pretty solid!

So if I’m just replacing the shock I don’t need to loosen the rear break correct?
@ThatGuy-771
@ThatGuy-771 Жыл бұрын
That is correct. You can disconnect the linkage from the furthest back bolt so it will allow for the shock to fall down. That is only to remove the from linkage bolt you will need to loosen your brake up.
