Honda CT 110 Cam Chain - How To Replace Part 1

The first of two videos showing how to replace the timing chain & other worn parts of the cam chain tensioner on a CT 110 without removing the cylinder head. Part 1 includes disassembly & what to look for when checking the tensioner components. Part 2 shows reassembly & cam timing.

Couldn’t figure out how to get the flywheel off, gonna get a 6v puller. Great video, very helpful

Glad it was helpfutl, just remember to remove the flat washer before screwing in the puller, if you don't, the puller doesn't screw in far enough & will strip threads. My video 'what's causing the engine knock part 2' at 1:00 shows how to use the puller & remove the flywheel. Thanks for watching & commenting.

Just a few days tooooo late for me. Did the same job on my 12v ct110 recently. It all went quite easily. Love honda..everything just fits as it should ... Plug here for CT110 supplier with Greek Letter name. ..good service. Love your work. L

This one does but it's not detailled, it does show how to remove the flywheel. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipm8eKWXqp2kms0 removing the cover is easy, take the small cover over the front sprocket off first. Drain engine oil, loosen the screws with an impact driver if tight. A couple of taps & it should come off. Thanks for your comment.
