The range is the biggest downside to all these three. Otherwise, a small little electric hatch sounds like an ideal car! It is nice that manufacturers sometimes try making a model that isn't an SUV...

Indeed, modest range is just not suitable for a next gen EV when players like Tesla and Stellantis are soon to offer vehicles with 400-600 miles of range. That's about what we should be able to expect in new EVs these days, imo.

Well tbh, most people don't need more than 150 Miles of range, and a good portion of people don't even need that, and while yes, there will always be a market for people who need 800 miles range, thats a very very small percentage of users.

It’s coz the Corsa was built for petrol power first, so the design is not really (electric) if that makes sense, I think the Corsa looks better than a polo or fiesta tho

i really like corsa look. For a "normal" car it looks very good, especially in this orange color. Honda is also good looking. Modern and also classic look in it, but i dont like that its a bit "electric crazyness" look in it. Same thing with mini wheels and other stupid details in other electrics

Good video, Thank you. I was not lucky with my e corsa. The Vauxhall app paralized the car. No turn off, no drive...even I could not lock the doors. The RAC restarted the system after a long waiting time.

I love how bigger productions like TG are embracing the KZbin format. The drone shots in this were on point. We often see productions like this that used to have huge budgets and thus helicopters (which TG used quite a lot tbh) get a bit stuck in what they know and in there way of filming. Here you see a big number of drone shots that are just impossible to pull off with a helicopter. Props, great vid!

A range of 200 Miles is ok. The issue is with recharging times and recharging facilities/cost. To have a glimpse of how it is to have an EV, fill up your ICE car with fuel to cover 200 miles and try to go out for a round-trip without refuelling... isn't nice. Add to this that when you arrive back you can refuel your ICE within few minutes - the EV isn't going to go a mile further for the next hour or so. Whereas using an EV if you decide to stop midway to recharge, is not only a time issue, it is also a cost issue - some recharging points aren't cheaper than petrol....

Evs dont take an hour to charge :D the higher end ones can get like 80% the battery in 20 minutes

It's still fairly early days for mass market EV use but the signs are promising - the latest "mainstream" models coming out this year are all in the 300 mile range bracket with the Koreans now able to charge in 18 minutes to 80%, +100 miles in 5 mins, once infrastructure catches up. Petrol stations starting to introduce fast chargers at "OK" prices and many supermarkets offering 7kw free chargers in their car parks. A few more years at this pace and the 2030 targets for ending fossil fuel use should see EV's being no more hassle than ICE cars with many benefits, the main one from a convenience point of view being homeowners with parking will rarely ever have to charge away from home.
