I used to use an Epson ET-2550 kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. This presentation was very informative. Cleared up a few questions for us. Our first exposure to the Honda generator was four years ago when new water mains were installed under our street. The water table was high. The contractor dug a hole in front of the house, and a Honda generator powered a sump pump for the entire summer. it was beat up by the end of the job, but it still ran, and it was very quiet.

Burning wood during a power outage is always best!👍 Can't ever go wrong with a Honda and congrats on the unit! I have a generator safety transfer switch right beside the breaker box. Am able to plug the cord from the generator outside and run all the essentials in the house. Water, heat, freezers, fridges, and select lights/outlets. Great presentation, and great generator. I had a 2200I Honda during the freeze we had in Texas and shortly afterwards bought a second the companion for redundancy and more power when connecting them in parallel. During the freeze I already had a 2KW "solar generator" along with the Honda which saved our bacon since we lost power for more than a week. The solar generator was great until we had no sun for several days and the Honda generator would charge my solar generator in about 2 hours since it was pure sine wave . This allowed me to save the fuel for the Honda's because I would run it for a couple of hours until my solar generator would be fully charged since it is able to handle 1800 watts input from AC. This became crucial since all gas stations were inoperable due to power not being available to run the pumps. After the freeze I decided to convert both generators to propane. It became tedious running the generators every 2 months to make sure the fuel would not clog the carburetor which it did even though I would empty the fuel and used non-ethanol fuel . Converting to propane was expensive with the propane kits costing $300 but very well worth it since propane can be stored for years without going bad. Best part if you run out of propane you can always add gasoline to continue running it. Redundancies are a good thing, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I had an EU3000 for my 5th wheel 37' RV, and it was great! I loved it! Unfortunately, I could not use it for my rural property, because it doesn't generate 240V; it won't run my water pump, so that's a showstopper for me. Got a 7800 watt generator as a "whole house" solution, it handles everything except for the electric oven, which is a non-issue on an emergency use basis. Smart choice! I'm surprised you don't have an inverter and solar with a natural gas or gas powered back generator, some of the techy guys on here review solar and power inverters, they have some pretty impressive set ups. Some cost in the tens of thousands but you can have a back up that will run most to all of your house for less, depends on the system you get. For @6-7k you can back up all the important things like furnace, fridge/freezers, well pumps and sumps. If you set them up correctly you can run some things off of batteries and charge them when the other appliances aren't running. Technology is moving really fast now! It's passed us old guys up quick.

cool having your son Brice in todays video showcasing the generator. Nice little generator. i have a champion 9375 dual fuel gen that doesn't quite run everything. most of the house, water heater or the well pump, not both. i'll be getting a whole house 24 kw in the beginning of Feb. these power sub station attacks got me thinking what if. Plus, i live on the Chesapeake Bay and we often get some heavy storms with strong winds and the power lines come down. worst case was during one of the hurricanes, we were without power 10 days. in those items that require gas, I've switched over to nonethanol for everything. i got tired of gummed up carbs. i love Honda motors. i replaced my splitters motor this year, a Briggs and Stratton with a a Honda GX. best move ever. great engines. one pull and its running. what are the comments below about honda leaving the US small engine market. I think it's worth mentioning that an inverter generator doesn't need to run at 3600 RPM to maintain the 60 Hz frequency of the output. I believe that when in ECO mode it will run at a reduced speed and only throttle up as the connected electrical load(s) are increased.

Great video. Yes it's one of the reasons I live off grid because a couple of years ago we had a transformer station blow on the coldest day in the past 25 years. It was absolutely awful because I was completely dependent on mains electricity. I swore I'd never go through it again so I built off-grid so I'm not dependent on electricity so I totally agree with your idea to be prepared. It doesn't mean you're a wheat hording nuclear war paranoid prepper 😆 but it's smart to be prepared for the what ifs in life. Cunning plan. I use solar to charge powerpacks for my internet phone, it's the only electrical device I own now😆

In your Haste to always find a way to Dis California, you neglected to notice that there is a EU3200IAC model sold in all 50 states. You have the EU3200IAN model (49 states).

For the 2nd consecutive year, the population has declined in that liberal-infested state of CA & there is a very good reason for it...

Great unit. But I was told to start generator and shutdown them. To have no plugged items in .also when starting and shut down run the generator at full power for a minute or so . Then shut down. I do have the 6 gallon auxiliary tank. It works great. I only run 91 octane. Non ethanol gas only. Change oil every 100 hrs .

I also did change the dip stick with a magnetic one. Boy that pics up the fillings in the oil. Think is adds life to the engine.

It should be for sale in CA, use it in the trunk of the Tesla for backup when you can’t find a place to charge or wait for 3 hours in line for a charging station.

Nicely electrified video. Fossil fuel electricity that will keep the beer cold in summer and heat on in winter. Always nice to be able to power tools, etc. when grid power is not available. Will they put you in jail if you operate one of these in CA? Asking for a friend who is afraid that the ground will shake some day. GNI

Honda announced they are stopping production of their gas lawn mower line of products. Honda has stated it “will continue to sell the remainder of its lawn and garden product line and industrial-type power products such as GX engines, generators, and water pumps, and continue to support its service and parts operations in the U.S. market.”
@rickthelian2215 Жыл бұрын
@@thomasmoxham1242 blame it on California EPA, Honda Will be in Europe and the South Pacific like Australia where I’m from, but to be honest it won’t be long before you have no option but to go battery. Looking at Bunnings (Large Box Store in Australia) just the other day there’s not much to choose from in fuel models of any gas powered mower from Honda and our own Victa Brand which Briggs & Stratton brought a few years back, you can’t buy budget anymore $500+. I see in videos you don’t have $99 budget mowers anymore they are $300+nowadays 😢

Doesn't take a bomb blast to knock out electrical products in your home. Readiness and adaptability. Polytechnics eliminates the need for electric grids by using biometric energy and isn't effected when damaged, burned or exposed to radiation

Apparently no one taught you how to use a pull start cord. You never pull the cord till you have pulled it out tight. If you do not tighten the cord first you are putting stress on all rewind components and they will wear faster and also break.
