THANK YOU for helping me fix my 2015 Fit! I never soldered before, avoided doing this for a month but IT WORKED! Now just figuring how to put it back in the dash lol

I just did my 2015 as well! It was COLD! out there! but all fixed now. See my other post... you should pop the air vents out and it will slip right back in. The left side vent has SIX of those white clips and is not easy to get out but it will come out eventually. Remember that the tab on the side goes UNDER the rubber door seal which will slide right off. The right side is a little easier, there's three of the white clips across the top, and some smaller ones above the radio. You really need the proper trim tools to make your life easier.

Appreciate the quick vid! I’ve never soldered before, but I think I finally need to learn so I can get this fixed.

Thanks for the well explained and simple to follow video - it fixed the issue in my 2020 Honda City VX. This cluster gauge is on the 2015-2020 Jazz, Fit & City in Australia, the Asian sub-continent, South-East Asia, the Middle East and perhaps Africa. The local Honda Dealership wanted US$30 to diagnose the issue which would most definitely have resulted with a 'Replace the Cluster Gauge' for perhaps US$1,500. Diagnosis and re-soldering complete with uninstall & reinstall done by at a good electronic repair store within an hour and cost me $70; totally worth the price.

Thanks man! This helped me find and correct the problem on my Honda Fit as well. Nice and short and to the point.

Does this also affect the knob on the dash? Twisting my knob doesn’t adjust brightness, and pushing it only registers a change in display half the time.

Anyone watching this in the future... please REMOVE THE AIR VENTS as well and you won't have to force the cluster past them, and putting it back together is ten times easier!
