I think you guys just found a new co host there. Get him back on and let see his progression over time as he learns the stage. I feel like since it was his first time on the pass, someone with the knowledge of every corner will not only have the biggest advantage but will already be faster than someone who is guessing at what point do they brake making tons of error and unnecessary adjustments. I'll give em props for staying in the lane though. I've been a group that only races on one lane due to safety too which is pretty honorable in some sense. Given the BMW chose to stay in his lane, I think the honorable thing would have been to do the same to the extent possible. I give that guy the spiritual win over the Fit for that reason. I don't have a problem with lane crossing at night, but I think if there's any pretense of a "race" going on, then both drivers should be on the same terms. Perhaps this is something to establish beforehand with future challengers. I know if I took the Fit Challenge in my Miata, and saw you guys doing that, I'd be thinking, "Okay, there's the hustle".

I'm a very big fan of the Honda Fit. The chassis rigidity is surprising, it's constructed of a three dimensional main frame monocoque structure and has a double-layer construction not unlike that of a GT car, resulting in a low center of gravity since the bottom of the car is stiff and the top end is more loose. What really sets the Fit apart is that while conventional mass production monocoque bodies are made by putting together sheet metal with reinforcement sheets, the Fit's three dimensional main frame is constructed as if two traditional sheet metal monocoque frames were put together. In addition to reinforcement sheeting, the Fit's chassis has multiple different types of sheet metal with varying tensile strength resulting in both a rigid chassis and lightweight construction.
